This place is a Disney level restaurant in that, from the moment you walk in you go from being in balmy Florida to a snow ski lounge somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. Not only do you feel like you are transported to entirely different place, the food and beer are great too! I highly recommend this escape from the norm!

Our first meal in Florida, after landing in Fort Myers, was yesterday with friends and it was absolutely fantastic. We all love BBQ and everything we had was delicious. Service was great and didn't have to wait. I highly recommend this place especially if you like good BBQ food.

Our hotel is on Sanibel, but wanted a place to watch KU vs Duke basketball game. The game didn’t end like we wanted, but the food here helped ease the pain. Recommend the burnt ends as an entree!! Oh the TV’s are super!!

Super cool sportsbar, with special offers for drinks and meals. Finally had my all time favourite which is wings, they did not dissappoint. Ribs could have been more tender, which was a bit of a bummer but still tasty. Staff was friendly.

We dined at The Lodge for brunch on a whim and it was the right choice with the endless mimosa special for $15 and their bbq was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the selection of beers on the beer wall. Our server was so attentive and friendly every step of the way thank you so much ☺️

Hearty portions from a menu full of comfort food selections. The meat lovers Mac & Cheese Skillet, the smoked wings and the chili were amazing! Tried to save room for dessert but didn’t happen.

This was a very nice experience and I’ll tell you why! So first off , it had super quick service , the people who cook this things are amazing as well! The lodge was very festive and decorated well as in the decorations. It also involved clothing / merch at the entrance which I found really cute! Something I would recommend from the menu is the “s’mores cake” in the desserts section, it involves a roasted s’more. Both chocolate and vanilla ice cream, a chocolate drizzle, and best part , a brownie! So that’s why you should come to “The Lodge” next time you want a very nice experience with your family and kids!

My husband and I ate there for lunch. We got the 2 for $30. Everything tasted great, but couldn't eat it all, so we shared it with some friends that were there with us. Beer was good and cold which we love!

First time dining at the Lodge. Was able to get a table for our party of 6 on an early Saturday evening in under 10 minutes. Our server was very nice, accommodating and quick to get our drinks and food. Let’s start with the positives. Overall the food is really good. Portions are good and everyone in our group said the meats were all very flavorful. The side items (coleslaw , baked beans, Mac & cheese, French fries) were good also. Atmosphere inside is a nice change of pace from the Florida scenery of beaches and palm trees. Prices are pretty good considering the location and the fact that everywhere food prices are higher. Here’s some of the negatives from our visit: Ordered the sampler appetizer for the group. All deep fried with one piece of perk belly which was good but for $19 we expected better. Way overpriced for what you get. Two of us tried the Tap Your Own Beer where you pay by the ounce for whatever craft beer you want to try from their taps. Good selection of beers to choose from with some local breweries on tap. The glass I grabbed from the shelf next to the taps was dirty. The shelves with the glasses could definitely use some cleaning up. Only other problem we had was that my son never got his Soda. Our server did take it off the bill and offered to give him one to go. Overall minor issues. Food is good and that’s what matters most. We will return to try some of the other options on the menu.

Visited for the first time driving back from a trip. Great spot for BBQ - great smoked wings, chili and brisket. They make their own chicharrones which was great with the chili and the atmosphere was great. It really felt like a hunting lodge and the staff was very friendly. My son loved the endless mac n cheese Wednesday special. Great stop.

The service was good. The food was good. The ribs were on the tough side, but had a good flavor. Not falling off the bone, but good.

Great place in downtown Ft. Myers. This was my first visit to this restaurant. I am not a big fan of bbq but I decided to give it a try.. something diff. Sky our server was nice and attentive. I didn’t like the first drink I tried but the other one was amazing. The price was very reasonable and you definitely got a buzz from just one drink. I’m very picky with my food and I tried to stay safe and had the burger but as you can see from the pic it wasn’t as attractive as the other 2 dishes. The chicken Mac and cheese was good and the pull pork nacho. The burger was good but if I do stop by again I would diff try some of the other dishes.

The food was good. But the best thing I liked about this place is the atmosphere. It is a happy place to go chill and enjoy your beer and/or food.

I was actually quite impressed by this place. Fried pickles and fish are quite easy to do wrong in a restaurant, but the quality here was high. The pickles were crisp and smoothly battered and the salmon was well grilled and the BBQ sauce was a good match. The service was very nice as well. Overall a good time.

We came for lunch and we really enjoyed our time at The Lodge. We started with the chicken chili and I have to say that was very very good. We had the BBQ Cuban sandwich which was excellent and the Chicken Bacon bowl which was very good as well. It included mashed potatoes and gravy which I love but I felt that it was more of maybe a kids meal as it included boneless chicken wings. The service was also very good on this beautiful day and our waitress Heather, was very attentive and excellent! Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious as usual but super impressed by the service. They were extremely busy yet our server, Tracey, was a superstar! Brought drink refills when we got half way through our drinks, checked on us often, and was very nice!! Some of the best service we’ve seen in a while AND it was while they were slammed and short staffed.

We've been going to the lodge for 5 years now and unfortunately this will be the last. We love the atmosphere and service but slowly the quality of the food has been decreasing. Tonight was the final straw when my wife found a large piece of melted plastic in her brisket slider after the pork belly plank was cold and like cardboard. The server was fantastic and overly apologetic but both managers barely acknowledged it and just replaced her dish with NOTHING taken off the bill. Both my wife and I work in customer service and realize mistakes happen...but to do nothing for the customer says we mean nothing to your business

Stopped in at 5pm for dinner. Weather was mild so chose outside seating, inside was a little cold, so bring a layer to keep warm. Drinks were great with large beer selection. Food was fantastic. Great BBQ and several sauces to choose from, so pick your style. Dishes are good sized, bring an appetite!!. I made a meal out small sized nacho starter with added pulled pork. My S.O. had a half rack of ribs that were fall off the bone deliciousness. Dessert today was blueberry cobbler. Left full and happy.

Amber was the friendliest bartender I have ever met. Her positive energy was infectious. All the staff was happy to be at work. The outside seating area is excellent for people watching on First Street. The bathrooms were spotless. The best place to park is the parking deck which is two blocks behind the restaurant. Parking is free on Sunday if you find an available spot on the street. I had the two meat combo with smoked turkey, which was delicious, and the pulled pork. The pulled pork was wet and not my favorite because I am from North Carolina and highly critical of barbecue. But it had a good flavor—my sides or mac & cheese an apple coleslaw which I enjoyed. I enjoyed the bourbon barbecue sauce that’s on the table. They had three other choices. They probably have close to 50 TVs which allows you to watch any of the football games during football season.
