Just dined under new chef and ownership this evening and I loved everything. The salmon special was the best I've had. The desert was equally delicious and the atmosphere remains entertaining. The new owners were delightful! Check it out

Ok so I can't share all the cool foodie words with you to explain how good this place is... but I will do my best. First of all, it was the first time I've had any escargot. I was worried, but the sauce and the esgargot with the crostini bread was AMAZING. I ended up getting a blue burger and again, it was cooked to a perfect medium well and everything was just right. The truffle fries were crispy and shoe-string style with the sauce they provided was phenomenal. I can't say enough about how great this place was for a small group of work friends. Thank you and I'll be back.

We walked in with 15 minutes to close. They welcomed us with open arms and cooked us the most delicious portabella burger I ever have eaten. Will go back to try other dishes!

How did I not know about this place before?! What an excellent alternative to the chain restaurants so prevalent in Fort Myers! The wine selection was excellent, the food was excellent, and the service was excellent! It is small and superb and what we need more of in this area!

Great menu, you don't need to modify their menu it's perfect as is. Sit at the counter and watch them prepare your meal they are true artists, a gem of a restaurant you must go if you are in Fort Myers!

Took a friend here after I learned Ruthie was back!!! I love this place. I love vegetables...cook them all day long; it is so nice when someone cooks them for me. I love her style, everything is so clean tasting and fresh. A little caraway on the cabbage, the beets (yum), radishes, ALL OF IT! I also love the rest of the staff. Nothing beats being served wonderful food by a starry eyed adorable smiling frenchman.

This place is phenomenal. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is quirky, and the portions are generous. As a vegetarian, I also really appreciated that they had so many veggie friendly options - I'm not used to that many choices eating out! I'll definitely be back.

My wife heard good things about this place so we gave it a try. We're glad we did! Service was quick and polite. A lot to choose from and everything we had was fantastic. I got a burger (don't remember the name) but it was really fresh and a great size. Cooked exactly how I ordered it. My wife got a salad and soup and loved it. It's kind of hard to notice this place from the road, but you need to look for it. Definitely worth it. Not expensive either which is nice.

Wow! What a Burger. McDonalds watch out. This 9oz. Spaniard Burger topped with prosciutto and arugula is outstanding. There is homemade ketchup if you're interested but the mayonnaise aioli on the fries is a hundred times better than ketchup homemade or not. If you have not tried this restaurant you are missing out. It's a small place next to Bell Tower Shops.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food! Cute locally owned place with a good atmosphere and a clean dining room. The truffle fries are awesome, thin and crispy! I had the steak tartine and it was outstanding. Great portion for dinner and I liked that it came with a small side salad with really great dressing. My mom had the steak special and the presentation was beautiful, and the food was delicious! The creme brûlée is my favorite dessert in town and will always be a part of my meal here!

No soup for you! Seinfeld fans who want to experience the soup nazi should go here. Although this is a French bistro the people sometimes get yelled at by the chef. I have not been but I have sent others get the chef angry. Do not ask for ketchup or complain about how the meat is cooked. This place is really interesting. It is small. Prepare to wait for dinner. For lunch you should be able to get right in. Keep in mind they are closed on Sunday and Monday. I have made that mistake more than once You get to sit and watch the chef cook your dinner. It is a great food experience. We love the truffle fries and the flat breads. The flat breads are the size of an extra large pizza. Bring you appetite and prepare to bring some home. The best part of the restaurant is that it is not a chain. In Fort Myers it is hard to find a local restaurant let alone good food. This place is both.

This restaurant is Delightfully delicious, and the New owner's are fun to talk with, and are serious about making excellent lunch, and dinner choices for a reasonable price. really was impressed by the freshness of the meal , and the delicate sauce that was on the Chicken Caprese. The vegetables were still crisp, not over done. Even my dinner salad was yummy. I will be recommending this authentic french restaurant to my friends. Thank you for a great meal.

Great! Seating is very limited and casual, food is AWESOME. Yeah, it costs money, but everything is cooked to order in a small-volume intimate space, so that's no surprise. Had the scallops and ratatouille, lovely texture on the scallops, tender but hot inside, beautifully slightly caramelized surfaces. The guys had the flat bread essentially pizzas, and they both needed boxes for leftovers (yum). The whole ketchup thing is funny, just part of the quirky charm of this place. Thanks for being here, Mad Fresh!

Found this place online while searching for top rated restaurants in the area. Went for lunch today. The restaurant itself is not big, with a few tables and high chairs for dining in. Most patrons order to-go The menus for lunch and dinner are separate I believe. It is divided into salads, tartines, flat breads, burgers and plates (for dinner). They have a decent selection of wines as well We ordered the Parisian burger (medium well) with a side of the truffle fries and the Ratatouille with chicken The burger was probably one of the best we've ever had. It was well cooked and juicy. The caramelized onions along with the slab (not a slice, a thick slab) of melted cheese and the tarragon sauce gave it a distinct flavor. The Ratatouille was extremely flavorful and the side of watercress salad that came along with it was unexpectedly delicious. The service was fast. Overall, this is a highly recommended restaurant for lunch as well as dinner, especially considering the prices. We will definitely be visiting again in the very near future! P.S - Ask for ketchup and your request will most likely be denied :)

This is one of the best restaurants in Southwest Florida, and would stack up well against similar establishments in NYC or Chicago. It's a small menu of very well-crafted food. Tip: whatever you order, make sure it comes with truffle fries. They are the best in town. There are a lot of people who seem to take issue with the chef's rather Draconian "no ketchup" policy. To those trashy rednecks, I'd suggest they're better off at Outback or Chili's, and not wasting space in a fine restaurant like Mad Fresh.

Wow! Best. Truffle. Fries.EVER!!! The new owners are friendly and professional. Its so nice to feel welcome, almost like they invited me into their home. The food was amazing, fresh and delivered with smiles. If you havent been you really need to try it! And they serve home made ketchup!(inside joke if you had ever been here with previous owner).

Went there the day before Valentine's Day, and my date and I loved it. I personally think that it's hilarious that there are so many people are so offended about not being able to use ketchup. There are multiple disclaimers on the website as well as the menu. Honestly, the food is so good there are no modifications needed. Don't skip out on trying the truffle fries! I'll definitely be going back in the near future!
