Love this place! I was here on St. Patrick's Day which was crazy busy but the staff was outstanding. They were swamped but they were handling it all with big smiles and excellent service. The beer is cold, cocktails are delicious and the food better than your typical bar food. Everything that I had was fresh and tasty, not greasy or overly salty, just right.
I can't wait to visit again.
Great food, fun atmosphere. Our server, Jaycell, was prompt, attentive and with a great sense of humor.

Definitely, hands down, a downtown staple! The greatest staff downtown and their menu has vastly improved! Great spot to gather with friends for happy hour or a weekend night out with live music! In my opinion, best prices for drinks downtown!!

World class pub food and a great selection of beers and spirits are just the start. I recommend stopping by every day to get a new experience. Themed Quiz night ? Bring your wand. Because you'll likely run into the cutest Hermione cos play in the game. Saturday night ? Dress for the club but without the pretentious vibes and get to dancing ! Sunday Funday ? Great mix of people fresh off the boat and fighting over the jukebox.
Monday ? Rinse and repeat.
Every experience here is a blast. And if you only remember half of them... you're doing right. Cheers !
Great hole in the wall! They have pool, darts, and live music. The bar food is good, love the grilled cheese. They have friendly bartenders.
City tavern is deff my go to.
Jell-O shots is always my excuse to stop in!
Ashley is my go to Bartender, she always knows what I want and is always fast and easy going .
I also had a great experience with Perry the General manager , he was very friendly and easy going as well .
For food I love to have the BBQ pork flatbread .if you’re in town stop at city and grab a jello and flat bread . You want regret it .

Its been pretty empty the last few times ive gone, i have nothing horrible to say about this place, just that its not very remarkable.
The atmosphere and smiles were contagious. Very relaxed in a public but private setting. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful with drinks or any questions. I really like this place & it is a must see stop in Fort Myers Florida

Bartenders are quick and attentive .gets pretty busy in the afternoon so get there early .
These nachos were amazing, and a good portion. Although, I got these same nachos 2 weeks prior and they were not as big or good. Here's hoping the rest are like this! The other food I've had here has been good.
If you are in Fort Myers make sure to get to this restaurant/bar! You will be glad you did. The appetizers (pretzel w beer cheese dip, city bread) melt in your mouth. The Italian Beef sandwich and Cubano are a must!

Great place! Fun staff, awesome food!! Its exactly what "city tavern" should be, fun,food and friends!
The service was excellent, and the bartender was super accommodating. Gave me the beer I ordered and a shot of something local to try out (which I ordered a glass of as well. Lol). I ordered the Myers Roasted Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious; The weirdest looking bread I ever saw, but it tasted good.
The negative was that once the live band started playing, it was almost impossible to talk without screaming. Left with a hoarse voice.

This restaurant is hands-down the best little bar downtown! Top-notch service, food, and drinks. The hospitality is par none. If you’re looking for a good time these bartenders know how to show you just that. If you’ve visited Fort Myers and you haven’t gone here, you are absolutely missing out! Highly recommend!
Nice place to have a beer, listen music and play a pool. Regarding food, super short menu but we really good sanchwiches (innovating out of usual ones) and a couple of salads. Additionally has a few sharebles. Salads are well prepared and sandwiches among them the cubano are delicious.
Service is above standard, very kind and always available despite the size of the place!
Service and restaurant did a great job especially with the large crowd they were dealing with. Food was very good and well prepared, Bar Food like majority of restaurant in Fort Myers area was tasty and quick.
Great small bar. Not many craft beers, but wait staff is attentive and outgoing.
