Favorite breakfast place on the island! Have always had great service and the chocolate chip pancakes are amazing!
Great find for breakfast. Recently reopened with a basic but complete breakfast menu. Ask about specials for the day. I had The Mess which included ham, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and cheese mixed with eggs. Also had a takeout order of chocolate chip pancakes that were enjoyed also.

Very nice place and waitresses awesome. We need a place like this in Ohio. Definitely friendly atmosphere.
Wonderful food and staff. The chocolate chip pancakes are excellent.
Wonderful food and wonderful service. I absolutely loved it!!
Very good food and fast service.
Will be back again.
Amazing pancakes for an amazing price! Better than any IHOP, Denny's, or Perkins I've ever had :)
Great place, great food,great people!
Stopped here on our way back home from a one-night visit to Ft Myers Beach. The Eggs Benedict was delicious, as was the blueberry compote on pancakes. Service was prompt, friendly. The prices were very reasonable. I'd definitely visit here again for breakfast. The only odd thing is the bathroom facilities are shared among the tenets in this small, slightly tucked away shopping center, so you have to exit the restaurant to use the bathroom (which were reasonably clean). Recommended.
Was alright, just fine ill go back.. I'm in my 40's and this place kinda reminds me of a Mel's diner tv show I used to watch as a kid. The food and service were fine. Prices were so reasonable. If I didn't have cash on me there's a bank so close with an ATM. My kids liked the pancakes. I had a standard blt. Was good. I'd go back.
Our Favorite!. For the third year in a row visiting Fort Myers Beach and this is still our favorite place to eat breakfast or grab a quick lunch. The food is always fresh, hot, and plentiful! And our favorite server, Mitizi, is a star attraction because she always remembers us and gives us the best service imanginable.
Best breakfast food ever!. Me and my two children were recently there on vacation and we tried almost every restaurant on the island. All were either overpriced or not good or both. The Island Pancake House has the best pancakes ever. And I had egg beater scrambled with home fries and toast. Both with american cheese. A don't even like eggs very much. They were the best eggs I have ever had and the portions were huge. We went there 3 days in a row and the staff was soooo friendly. If you are staying in Fort Myers, I highly recommend eating here. the food is very cheap too.
Awesome pancakes and omlettes. We tried IPH for the first time this morning and really liked it. My GF wanted pancakes with banana/pecan/chocolate chip pancakes with bacon which she described as "pancake heaven." Our other friend and I both had the ham and cheese omlette which was chock full of delicious ham cubes and generously laced with white american cheese which tasted almost like white cheddar. All our plates were clean as a whistle when we were done--excellent breakfast! Our server was fun and sassy and did a great job.
Awesome food. Server was great. Inexpensive and big portions.
Great food and amazing service! There was only 1 waitress working when we were there but she was leaps and bounds better than the last 2 places we ate breakfast at!
Great food, friendly service, and quick. It's a great way to start the morning on the beach. Don't expect anything high end, but this place defiantly blows other local breakfast joints out of the water. It's one I keep coming back to year after year.

Remember to take CASH. No credit cards taken here, but they do have an ATM that charges fees. The waitresses are very nice and pleasant locals. Rarely see the cooks or owner in this tiny restaurant. Food is always good.
Family friendly, great food and service!! They now take credit/debit but they charge $1.75, but the bank near them charged us $3.00. My favorite in Fort Myers :)
Great food! Fresh. Friendly service. Cheap prices and BIG portions!
Awesome local cafe. We eat here all the time and send our guests there as well.
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly. We recommend the Cheese Steak sub, Cobb Salad and Tuna melt.

The best breakfast I have had on the island. The service is friendly and the prices are low.
Amazing Breakfast. One of the few places on the island to get it right!
Great for breakfast. Only open for breakfast and lunch. We go there every time we stay in Ft. Myers Beach for a great breakfast.
Food seems to be homemade and is reasonably priced. Strange cash register - they don't take credit cards but have a "cashless ATM" where you can withdraw money (round up to the nearest $10) and they'll give you change.
Very cute little hole in the wall place! All the food was very good. I had one of the daily specials, the lemon poppy seed pancakes with blueberries. Soooo good! Service was fast and friendly. The other four people with me all really enjoyed their food and the environment as well. If in Fort Myers Beach, definitely give this place a go!
We found this hidden gem by mistake, I haven't been happier to make a "gps mistake".
The food was delicious, great portions, and great prices.
The service was fantastic, attentive, fast, and happy.
The atmosphere was calm, colorful, and inviting
Will definitely come back :)
Great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Homemade biscuits, huge pancakes, great omeletts. Good service. I had the Island omelette that had shrimp, tomatoes and Hollandaise and also tried the biscuits and gravy which was excellent. Highly recommend.
Great food and service. First place we went when we came back.
Great and inexpensive breakfast spot. Also have some soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch. We had an omelet and a patty melt and it was delicious. Was empty in the restaurant so had quick service. Ursula was our waitress and did a wonderful job! Happy, helpful, good service and pleasant to talk to.
It seems like it's harder and harder to find small, quaint and friendly breakfast places that are competing with larger chains. So we decided to check out the island pancake House on a rainy Saturday morning. The Island Pancake House has very cute murals painted by a local artist with unique decor on the walls that make it welcoming and homie. The menu has a lot of diverse choices for breakfast and lunch items.
The waitresses are very nice and friendly. One drawback is that they do not have a liquor license so if you wanted mimosas you out of luck. Yet the portion size of three pancakes was huge! I could not eat all three pancakes.
Unfortunately the blueberry pancakes were disappointing as there were only fortify blueberries in a very large pancake so it was not a lot of blueberries for what you would expect in a blueberry pancake. The corned beef hash was shredded potatoes and beef which was different but tasty. I would definitely go for breakfast again. Prices were reasonable, atmosphere was very nice and welcoming but skip the blueberry pancakes.
Was a very comfortable place to eat, friendly atmosphere and the food was great. I had a mimosa and French toast was fresh made. Mimosa was good too. So I'd recommend a visit to this little hole in the wall.
Friendly family diner, the omelettes were very good, with thoughtful presentation. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to my wife's food allergies. Gigi, our server, was fantastic!
The pancakes are phenomenal. I had the short stack of three and could barely finish them because they were huge. I was about to order a full stack and the waitress asked if I was sure because they are massive and she was right. Good service and the price wasn’t too bad.
Great food, reasonable prices, they created a new dish for us, trying to please us. Definitely we will back, the waitress was fast with the order and very nice.
