Discovered this place while on a business trip. I ordered Thai Red Curry. It tasted absolutely delicious. Shrimp egg rolls had minced shrimp, hardly there for a hefty price. Boba tea tasted good. My reviews are honest and i do this for free to help out other businesses. The prices are very high for appetizers to dinners here. The food taste good I am definitely coming back. I will try other dishes at lunches. The servers needs to be more friendly.

Best people, owner came out to talk to me and my family about the food. Family own resturant had “Tea” as a server she was so bubbly and friendly. Food was amazing and especially the chicken wings and pad Thai.

Words cannot express how fantastic the food is at Lan Xang. I have not been this happy at a restaurant in a very long time. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food options, and shared her own favorites. She confirmed that the owners and cooks are all Laotian and Thai. They cook authentic, delicious food that I haven't stopped thinking about since. The Tom Kha soup was the perfect amount of sour, sweet and savory, and it was chock full of veggies and fresh herbs. The Laos Crispy Rice Wraps - my heart, these were unforgettable! I got them with tofu. The texture and taste were such that I couldn't stop eating them long after I felt full. They serve them with fresh strips of galangal (Thai ginger) that are crunchy & spicy, and crisp fresh lettuce. My husband loved his Drunken Noodle dish. His lychee juice was a unique offering you don't find at all Thai/Laos restaurants. I wish we lived in the area as we would go back again and again!

Very good food. The server we had was great. Soft spoken and very accommodating. Such a sweet soul. Shrimp summer rolls were good the only thing negative, I got a bit of shrimp tail in one. Which is not terribly bad I just ate around it. Thai tea was very good. Flavor was on point. I myself had the shrimp pho. Which was very good. There was a plentiful amount of shrimp in the large order (which next time, I’ll be getting a small.) My partner got, pad teriyaki with beef and chicken wings, which were priced really well for the amount. I honestly liked his more than mine just because the flavor was so amazing with the teriyaki and the wings were that old school style Asian wings. Super crispy and Huge. This was a very decent experience. And a very good place to eat.

Reminds me of my other Home Thailand. Great food. Not like quite like Mom's Thai food but close.

Updating for a new visit: Well..back to Lan Xang Fort Myers..another great meal in the books, live music this time ..barely made it to happy hour (so at least , got one Cosmo for $6 ; )). Steamed dim sum was amazing (to the point I drove to Leaf Asian market and bought a bamboo steamer), cosmos are always delish (even better when they r on happy hour), Bobalicious roll was a delight (made w fresh salmon instead of tuna)..yum. Service was lovely 😊..after the dinner ..took a stroll 🚶‍♀️ through Royal palm square ..all this vegetation , fountains, water views did wonders on my tired soul. Can’t wait to go back to Lan Xang for some more dim sum 🥟 and sushi 🍣. — at Lan Xang Fort Myers. Lovely first experience at Lan Xang. I saw some pics in their FB page and decided to give it a try this Sunday. Chef courteously made the item that wasn’t on the menu-trip of hand rolls, spicy salmon, tuna and yellow tail..it was a freaking amazing , after that I could only eat half of their Kan Xang roll w tempura lobster..what a treat but could def be eaten alone as entree ..my plate was full…happy hr on Sunday? Heck yes..I had a cosmopolitan for $6 as well as great quality Long Island for the same price ! I shall return to such a fine establishment . Surroundings were sweet and worth of exploring: )

There simply are not enough words to describe how out of this world magnificent the food from this place is. Truly. Vietnamise and Thai are some of my all time favorite cuisines. I come from California, where we get some of the best Thai and Vietnamese restaurants— this place is simply a gift from the food Gods themselves. Ever since I discovered it, I’ve been eating from there 4 times a week. I don’t even order the same meal… they have so many phenomenal dishes that I get something new every time and every single time it just exceeds my expectations over and over again. What a true gem this place is!!!

Second time ordering takeout from Lan Xang today and was very happy we tried it again. The first time we ordered most of our dishes 2 or 3 star which ended up being incredibly spicy. I usually order this way at other Thai restaurants in town and find the dishes much milder so beware if you don't like spicy food. But once we found our perfect level of spice, we were super happy with the flavorful food we had. The pad Thai, pad se ew and summer rolls were some of the best I've had in town. I did use the recommended app to order and did not find the bubble tea on it, which I ordered last time, so hope to see that added in the future as it was also quite good!!

I have eaten at Lan Xang a number of times but what has inspired a review this time is I'm just incredibly impressed. I believe Lan Xang is owned by Lao owners but they do it all- Lao, Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Typically this is a big red flag for me for any Asian restaurant because it's really difficult to be a master of all things and you lose quality on the individual dishes. I decided to gamble today and try their pad thai because I was really, REALLY craving some and so glad I tried it because it is amazing. Tangy sauce(not peanutbuttery) loaded with veggies and a generous heaping of tofu(most places aren't as generous) I can safely order it again and know I won't be disappointed. There are a ton of dishes on their menu I would like to still try but some of the ones I've tried that have been standouts include: Tofu Laab- it is herbaceous, texture experience and if you are wanting to try something new and Lao I think it's a great introductory dish. The cozy noodle soup instantly makes me feel better every time I order it. Thick, slurpy udon noodles in a warming broth is great if you want something filling but not heavy. Their lettuce wraps were delicious too! The tangy sauce and crunchy rice mixture with the protein is really delicious! I would say the veggie pho was just okay but I'm not convinced that some of their other Vietnamese dishes aren't spectacular. Their boba is always on point and I think usually freshly made( to the point they will make it fresh if they don't have it ready so be patient.) I am told(I don't eat meat typically) their sushi is great and they have a lot unusual roll combinations. Usually a safe bet time wise if you are order online I just did Uber eats and had it under an hour so it was still nice and hot. The restaurant has a nice ambience as well and really good vibe I think it's a great date spot. Ultimately you should try Lan Xang because it's not your run of the mill hibachi or just a bunch stir fried dishes asian restaurant. You can really try something new and they prepare the old favorites incredibly too! Their food is always fresh and prepared with quality and I will continue to patron them! Keep making yummy food!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lan Xang and I must say it blew my taste buds away. It was hands down the best Thai food I've ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the authentic Thai atmosphere. But it was the food that stole the show. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional dishes and creative twists. The service was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they served. Overall, this Thai restaurant is a must-visit if you love Thai cuisine or want to try something new. It's the best Thai food I've ever had, and if your ever in the Fort myers area it is a must go to. I honestly can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and service, they recently hosted a Yelp event and it was my first time there and we tried a bit of everything and it was all excellent. The service is great, so attentive and really help explain the menu for me since I am not as versed in Thai cuisine. It is a little hard to find, but well worth the trip.

It’s not often that our tastebuds crave Asian food. Maybe it’s cause my wife’s Korean and she makes all of the Korean dishes for me BUT when we want authentic Asian food, whether it’s Indian, Korean, Japanese or Thai, there are a select few that we would recommend, often times helping friends pick through the proverbial weeds of bad restaurants. This, LAN Xang is such a place. Everything seems authentic, cared for, effort put into and the dishes are delicious. It’s not run of the mill, pour MSG and soy sauce and call it a day. Or have prepackaged sauces you just pour into the woks. We honestly feel this is a hidden gem in SWFL and don’t just listen to me, look at the photos! (Mine by the way)
