We were going to get a gelato at Norman Love but ended up picking up a couple of pastries today. Yes, we went to a grocery store and only bought dessert.
Still, this looks like a really good Whole Foods. Produce, frozen, deli, meat counter. All clean and all stocked. Salad bar looked good. Aisles were clean and tidy. Parking lot was clean and the cart corrals were clear.
A different market means having to search high and low for specific items you want as no two, even of the same brand, have different layouts. Albeit Whole Foods is not different in this regard, it is always a pleasure to shop for some of the best of everything there. And if you have difficulties, there is always willing staff to help.

Absolutely wonderful! Only thing that is irritating is that sometimes the only option is self checkout- Norman Love Confectionery located inside.
Nice store. Clean. Friendly staff. I don't think I could do my normal grocery shopping here for the week. It would probably cost me double what I normally spend. But, with that said, this is a specialty market. I go there when we want to treat ourselves.
The hot food bar was good with lots of options all be it a little pricey. But, again we know it's not going to be cheap. Food was really good. Look forward to trying some other ready to eat food items on our next visit.
I love this location because it is so close to me but I have to say it's really frustrating that after a certain time of night they only have self checkout. I often pay in cash and because of my job I can usually only get there in the evening. They don't have a cash option at their self checkout. If the goal is to get evening shoppers out faster, it's not working. I don't find it faster to have someone with a weeks worth of groceries ringing themselves out, in fact it takes longer. Having one checkout lane open in the last hour of being open is not that much to ask.

This is a beautiful, new, clean, well-stocked store with friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Just very impressive. It just has so much to offer and has a large cafe section where you can savor your purchases -- there are lots of tables and surprisingly comfortable seating. They have a couple of microwaves and a toaster available to heat your meal. They use recycled plastic cutlery. There are a couple of sofas at the far end nearer to the clean rest rooms and water fountains. There are many specialty and novelty items available in the store -- fresh juice dispensers, french-style macaroons, etc. There's a lovely selection of cheeses; every cheese we tasted was delicious -- there was one with rosemary and lavender that was SO good! The meat case was jaw dropping. This is the biggest hot food bar we've seen outside of NYC and we has some very tasty hot food. The most notable part of the store is the Norman Love chocolate counter. The coconut chocolate was delicious and we were glad to see the pairing of Norman Love's chocolate expertise with the quality of Whole Food's ingredients.
I went one day and purchased their ground lamb, which was on sale. I went back the next day to purchase more, and they were out. I asked the butcher, and he said there was no more. The reason I am writing this review is because before I came to the store, I called to see if there was ground lamb left, they said yes. When I got there, no ground lamb. I was not very happy with that answer so I asked to speak to the manager. He went above and beyond for me, he had the butcher grind up fresh lamb for me. This is the reason I will be returning. Customer service is excellent. I wish I knew his name, he made sure I was happy.
đ§ Desserts! Did that catch your eye like they did mine? Not sure how good they taste, but they were so pretty I had to take their picture. They also had assorted cookies for $12.99/lb, but honestly, they were kinda meh. I was surprised their produce wasnât the best; I bout $6.50 worth of raspberries that were completely mush! They did have good honey mangos though. I saw a yummy selection of tasty looking gelato, but we had our 10 month old grandbaby and his mama wonât let him eat such sweet stuff. I also had a bottled peach tea that was quite good.
Bottom line? 4 âïž for this smallish Whole Foods store with a âgood enoughâ selection.
So I use to not really like Whole Foods in the past, but over the years my heart has definitely softened up towards them. Lol! Anyways every time Iâve come to this location, itâs always been a good experience. If a line starts to build up, theyâll open another register to knock it down. Also the gentleman in the seafood department have always been very helpful.
Food in the deli is amazing, soups, food bar and other pre-packaged meals were amazing. The cheese area is to die for. So many cool ones. Very helpful employees to as questions of the cheesing and pairings. The produce is top notch!
Great addition to Fort Myers. Great food and great hot food area. Iâve been buying these types of food from warehouse stores and box stores and noticed the prices here a little more expensive. You need to know your comparison shopping. But some products you canât get anywhere else, so thatâs a plus. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the stores was well stocked and clean.
I just lost track of time in Whole Foods Market. They have great options no matter what you're looking for.
Literally, isles and isles of different brands and choices. I'm thrilled about the healthy and vegan options. Although their Norman Love Collection takes the cake. Their desserts are absolutely mouth watering, not to mention they offer coffee! I will definently be back. I'm so glad we finally have a Whole Foods Market it Fort Myers!
Great Clean store! As anyone knows prices are always higher at Whole Foods, but if you want Fresh Food, and your an Amazon Customer-Of course youâll shop here! Seriously though-Fresh đ„© meat at this location right from Adamâs Ranch!

Prepared foods are plentiful, as or choices for specialty diets such as dairy free. It is exceptionally clean and people are always especially friendly. An added bonus is I can easily drop off my Amazon returns. If you are a member of Amazon prime, be sure to check for specials at Whole Foods.
Reasonable prices. Produce is good. Nice to be able to stop and get a quick meal. Nice and clean. Friendly service.
