Roger, as a boss, is amazing, he's present and busy. Ava is our regular waitress, and her memory is incredible, she's absolutely lovely and unbelievably fast. Sarah was new to us, and proved her brass on a table of 14 with flying colors. We love Friday night Karaoke šŸŽ¤! Hope to see you there. It's less "spotlight competition" and more "friendly bar sing-along", so less nerve wracking.

This place must be the best kept karaoke secret in Fort Myers. There seems to be a good mix of regulars and newcomers. The atmosphere was great and the beer cold. As good as it gets as far as karaoke bars.

Delicious! I have to say, since moving to Fort Myers, I have lowered my expectations of what good pizza is. I come from a place where pizza is made with sauce recipes handed down from generation to generation to generation and baked in 100+ year old brick ovens, so to be fair- thatā€™s impossible to replicate. šŸ• However, I am pleasantly surprised with Mona Lisaā€™s. I really enjoyed it! The cheese is reallllly good , and it was AMAZING the next day in the air fryer with a little zaā€™atar seasoning and parmesan cheese. šŸ˜š šŸ¤Œ šŸ– Definitely recommend, and I will be back!

1/2 off pizza on Halloween. Very good. Calamari was crispy & came with 2 good sauces. Roger pours a good size drink. We will be back!

Just a great little Italian restaurant tucked away where you wouldnā€™t expect it. The place has a tavern feel in the traditional sense. According to the story on the menu, the restaurant has been around since 1979, but it is so clean and well kept that it looks like it opened last week. The staff is very capable, very engaged and a pleasure to work with. We all had a different pasta dish and each was excellent. The pasta cooked perfectly, the sauce fresh and tasty. In a resort area filled with eateries designed to separate you from your money, Mona Lisa Italian Restaurant is a genuine treat!

Update: the pending $500 charge was dropped. The Mona Lisa staff were very friendly while looking into it for me, and they claimed no hold was made on their end. So it could have been my card. Either way, such an amount pending has never happened beforeā€¦ so Iā€™d still say bring cash. But they are nice people here. Pizza was decent, server was nice and atmosphere was fun. But why do I have a pending $500 charge when I ordered one slice of pizza and a water. My advice, use cash or donā€™t use the same card you use to pay your bills at this place.

Finally found a local Pizza Place that is comparable to our favorite in Staten Island, NY. Our family of 4 was pleasantly surprised that although I picked this restaurant randomly, it ended being g a gem. Kids loved their pepperoni pizza and we loved the White Pizza and rolls! Service was great and we were helped by two servers. Eva was attentive, charming and although there was a mixup with our order, it was quickly corrected. We will definitely be back to this charming spot.

Monalisa is one of those places that I have passed by several times, even went inside when I was 16 years old because my ex step sister wanted to get a work application from thereĀ but never actually ate there. How did I then mysteriously decided to eat at Monalisa, you may ask. It was Monday and I searched online for restaurants where kids eat free on Mondays and there they were. My first impression of Monalisa: Traditional & Authentic Italian Restaurant. As you know, when in Rome you must go to the Vatican ( I think that's how the saying goes ) so we went to the Vatican which in this case is order all the amazing things you can get at a Italian restaurant. We started off with mozzarella sticks and garlic bread for appetizers and we did not regret our choices, they were so flavorful! Now, moving on to entree, I ordered a ham, mozzarella & gorgonzola calzone. I could have done without the gorgonzola as the ham is already salty and so is the gorgonzola and the mix of the two together made it an extra salty dish. Regardless of that, it was still really good. My husband ordered the Shrimp Alfredo and we ordered chicken filets for the children and everyone was satisfied.Ā Unfortunately, we were very stuffed and dessert was out of the question. I would definitely make a trip back, skip on the appetizers and have a delicious and authentic Italian cheesecake. Overall, we had a very pleasant Monday night dinner at Monalisa, the service was great and the food was delicious.
