Sure was a nice stop along the way. Sunshine out...possibly 70 degrees. Hush puppies fresh outta the fryer. She had great shrimp while I went for the fish. Friendly staff, they'll give if you ask, for extra ketchup, tartar sauce, napkins. While other places forget about these amenities and you have to fend for yourself.
The food was delicious and the service was good,it was clean and it it was very cool inside.
The food is always great. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly with one exception. I could not see her name tag but I am assuming she is the manager because she seemed to be running things. There was a door dash driver that came in. She begins yelling that these delivery orders need to stop and that she hates door dash. The driver was standing 3 feet away the whole time. It was just really distasteful and rude. My partner who was with me was considering applying for a job until that moment. I recommend this location to everyone because we have always had great food and service here but someone really needs to talk to her.
Y'all, I am not even going to lie! Best LJS in a very long time. You won my heart when I saw the restaurant in FT. Oglethorpe this weekend. Delicious 8pc shrimp, slaw and green beans! Fresh and amazing..loved it 5⭐ service
The fish was hot and crispy. Clam strips were steaming and well seasoned. The employee handling the drive through was very nice and a big fan of Star Trek Deep Space 9. I am more of a Star Wars fan myself but we're both geeks at heart. Well done Long John!
This is the best when it comes to fish and chips!.I drive to eat there at least once a month or order delivery at least once a month!
Chicken and Fish are delicious and add the malt vinegar! I also ask for a box of crumbs for a crunchy snack the next day!
One of the last LJS around and I am thankful. The food was fresh and hot. Friendly service. The only complaint is that the lobby was pretty dirty. I mean, they were busy and likely short staffed but the floor was filthy (sticky). Tables kept clean.
