Sorry some have had a less than favorable experience,
We bought a groupon for 4 for a birthday dinner. All ordered the filet. Outstanding! Salted skin baked potato Excellent! Salad good ! House wine was nice! Koko moto pie..out of this world.!!!!
Waitress was efficient and not annoying.
We even had a table set up for our birthday celebration with table cloth and sprinkles.
One of us had soup instead of salad and it was just average. That is our only complaint .
Delicious!. My husband and I ate here for dinner on a Sat. night. When we arrived, I admit I was a bit apprehensive since the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sat. at 7:30pm. However, my fears were quickly relieved when our food arrived. It was fresh and very good. The only complaint is that the kitchen forgot to make our potato skins, so our appetizer arrived after our meal (just a couple minutes after). This seemed a bit strange since the place was empty. I would understand that a bit more if they were really busy. But, anyway, we didn't mind much and we will return here. Great food and a restaurant nearly to ourselves. Can't get that in too many places.
Great Lunch. This is a great place for a quiet lunch with a spouse, friend or client. The salad bar is wonderful, and all their lunch items like the prime rib sandwich are delicious. The chef has great specials like the pan seared tilapia with blueberry and corn salsa that was amazing. The soups on the salad bar are fresh, and the cheese soup that is prepared individually in the kitchen comes with the salad bar as well. I have been there around a dozen times and never had slow service.
Really good food/service. We really like this restaurant. I have never had a problem with service and you always get a lot of food. There ribs and steaks are really good! I would prefer to go here than a Cork & Cleaver or Club Soda.
Service was excellent.. Was in town for business and stayed at the Marriott which the Red River Steakhouse is attached. I was amazed at the service. Everyone I came in contact with was so nice, and efficient. The food is good as well. Had a spicy pasta that was wonderfull. If my travles bring me back to Fort Wayne, I will make sure to make Red River a part of my visit.
WOW!. Contrary to the last few reviews, Red River was outstanding! My husband and I were celebrating our 50th anniversary and the service and food were exceptional. We have not dined in Red River for a number of years and have decided this could be hands down, one of the best restaurants in Fort Wayne! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great evening!
Outstanding Service. This is a true gem in Fort Wayne. The service is beyond anything you usually get. And the food, I had the garlic filet and was blown away. Make time to stop by if you are ever in Fort Wayne, IN!
Great BBQ. Get the BBQ combo plate with at least the beef brisket and pulled pork, they come piled high and topped with what I think is the best BBQ sauce I've ever had, I even bought a bottle to take home! I had it with their fresh made potato chips and thought I went to heaven. A must stop in Fort Wayne!

Red River makes a more upscale version of nachos they correctly name "Kick Ass Nachos". They are more than adequately covered in the usual, such as cheese, tomatoes, ect. but what makes them great is instead of the usual ground beef they have chunks of rib meat scattered on them. They also come with a bowl of dip that has plenty of rib meat. They are a must try. While you're there I would recommend the house salad. The house dressing makes for the most appetizing salad I have ever had.
