Good place, but some of the dishes were weighed down in no flavor land. Tacos were wet and tasted kind of funny. I do like the other food I had, the lettuce was a little wet too though. Stick to cheese and meat here and you will have a winner! Anything with lettuce or tomato were all to wet for me and tasted funny. They have a nice little store in the back, they take their time to get your carry out order done. They look at me a little strange. Well to me they a little strange too.

Laredo Restaurant & Grocery is authentic. The reason I started with that sentence is because it is certainly easy to describe this little, pleasant whole in the wall! One of the best places I have ever tried guac, certainly one of the best places to eat real, authentic Mexican food. The food was fantastic, the people were the nicest I have ever met and it wasn't busy, it was perfect. If you have a chance of attending Laredo Restaurant & Grocery, make it happen! (Pictured is chicken enchiladas, salsa, a beef taco, chimichanga, chips and also the most amazing faux)

Pure Heaven. I'm a musician and years ago I I toured the United States. A good friend of mine introduced me to Laredos and I quickly fell in love with the food. I'll be returning to the States next year and a trip (or two...or three) is definately on the agenda. I was just telling a friend of mine about my fond memories of Benito and his FABULOUS food (I always get the enchiladas) and wondered (hoped) they were still in business.. the place smelled sooooo GOOOD...there was Freddie Fender playing on the juke box and fresh tortilla chips and salsa delivered to our table....and mexican pepsi. I WILL without a doubt be back as soon as I'm in the States!

Terrific Food. A friend introduced me to this little hole-in-the-wall a couple of years ago and it's been my go-to Mexican restaurant ever since. The food is simply wonderful, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is pleasant and friendly. Don't go for the atmosphere, but if you want good, fresh, reasonably priced Mexican food, this is THE place to find it.

My wife and I have talked about going there for a long time. We went for lunch a couple days ago and let me tell you, Awsome Food! This iS not the place to go on a nice date, it is a little rough inside, but get over it. It is all about the food. The owner has been in the same spot for 40 years making great food. We both had the same lunch special. Beef burrito with beans and rice. The best beams and rice o have had in FW. Salsa was also very good. Very authentic and cheap.

Awesome place to eat. This is one of the few original Mexican places in town. Great Tamales n Beef Burritos. I have eaten here for close to Forty years. As of this day I'm only 45 years old.

This place is a staple of fort Wayne in my eyes. I've been visiting Laredo since I was a child and still do to this day. The quality has always been consistent and it never disappoints to fill me up at a good price. This is the typical hole in the wall family restaurant you love to brag to others about. I suggest the chicken burritos or the steak chibichanga. Also the chips and salsa are THE BEST IN TOWN. Always made fresh daily and blow any other chips and salsa in Fort Wayne out of the water. Don't buy any more of that stuff from the grocery store, get your chips and salsa from Laredo, they sell them in containers right at the counter!!

Authentic Tex-Mex at it's finest. Old restaurant, in a converted gas station behind GE. Banging chips and salsa, good enchilada sauce.

Have you ever had something from somewhere that you just can not ever forget? That's what Laredos is with all of their food. I regularly come in every weekend to grab a bag of chips and pint of salsa. I have literally been around the globe twice and I can say with confidence I have never had anything compare with their chips and salsa. Oh, and those tamales are no slouch either. The only complaint I have is they are very difficult to get your hands on.

I remember the first time I ever ate at Laredos’s I was 7 years old and I just turned 50, my father took us there and I took my kids there and now my grandkids eat there so 4 generations of Alvarado’s ate there and I know my aunts and uncles ate there as well, I hope it stays around for many more years, Thank you Laredos’s for making such great food and keeping it authentic

If you are looking for a trendy, fancy and colorful place that serves Mexican food then don't come here because Laredo doesn't have that; what they offer is some of the best made and season Mexican food in the surroundings area! Hands down they make the best tasting pork tamales ever--almost as good as our late mother! I gave them the 4 stars for their quality of food, friendliness.
