I lived in Fort Wayne for five years in the early 80s and found the Sausage Rolls and pizzas at the Redwood Inn a staple. I really can't count the times my fiance (now my wife) ate there. It was consistently terrific. The place was simple and unassuming...dark wood paneling, low lights, a jukebox ("old-school") but the owners were nice and really knew their way around the kitchen. Everything that came out was simply delicious. It was always worth any wait. And the prices were very reasonable.
A few years back, while traveling east we decided to swing through Fort Wayne and see if Redwood was still in business. We hit town and soon found ourselves at its familiar back door. Walking in was like traveling through time. It was just as we remembered. It even had some of the same songs on the jukebox. We ordered two sausage rolls, and they were exactly like those we used to wolf down decades ago. Each bite was a delight. We saw the pizzas go by and wished we had room for one, because the pizza is also legendary. But I can get pizza in lots of cities, For a good sausage roll, you've got to go to Fort Wayne. And Redwood Inn has the best in town! I can't overstate what a joy it was to walk in after all these years and find it to be just as tasty as when we left. No matter where you go, you'll never duplicate Redwood Inn's Sausage Rolls. They are truly one of a kind. And the pizza is every bit as good. Great food made by nice folks. Wish I could be there right now!
Yesterday Della brought me an everything pizza. I’m recovering from surgery. It hit the spot. I love your pizza.
It was the hottest spot on Main Street from morning till night, great service, good food and ice ice cold beer...
Well I guess it's review time lol. My friends and I have been frequenting this bar for months. There is a reason why we do this. The staff is very nice. The touchtunes they have is really neat. So if you wanted to listen to a song of your choice you can pick a song from your phone to be played. The food is always fantastic. If asked for something they were quick to respond to our requests. Looking forward to another weekend, another month here to have a good time. They have several specialties food wise. The drink selection is great and the pricing is on point. The patio furniture is really nice. We love the atmosphere here! Thanks again! Try the garlic cheese bread with BBQ sauce to start off, you won't be sorry!

Mark has done a great job to revitalize the restaurant, the new patio and help the neighborhood. Staff is great and Joyce is still an awesome person to chat with. Great food and service.
No one got arrested. Nicest bartenders in town. Food was just what I wanted and delivered quickly. The owner refused to sell me dollar draft beers.
The Redwood and is one of the best places in town to hang out with your friends, great food good service hometown feel

Super delicious food. And cheap drinks. If you are in fort wayne. You have to give it a try. Even if you don't like sausages rolls, the ribs are bomb!
After having friends recommend the Redwood Inn over and over, I bit the bullet and gave it a go. I now understand why they recommended it. It's great! Great sauce, great crust, and great staff! The pizza was wonderful! I'm definitely going to try the deep dish next time!
I went to get take out for our dinner. I have been going to the Redwood Inn for 30 years. It's a great neighborhood bar with great affordable food. My favorite is the grinder and Dave's is the sausage roll with extra house bbq sauce!! Even after the ownership changed they kept the food the same which made me very happy. The staff is really friendly! They built a really nice patio area a few years ago if you want to sit outside. You should check it out sometime!!
Fantastic atmosphere, food is incredible. They have live music constantly and take great care in their customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.
Taco pizza Tuesday is awesome, then go back for a deep dish or sausage roll! Gluten Friendly options available as well!
Fun place....friendly staff....tried chowder (wow), and clam strips...then a pizza, has a crispy crust!(tasty!)....taking chili dogs home too....just to try...old fashioned interior...great food and drinks...cozy lil bar...
Deep dish pepperoni and sausage from Redwood Inn is delicious and very cheesy. Service was a bit slow, but they probably just underestimated the cook time.
Definitely a bit greasy, but that is the price you pay for deep dish deliciousness. Will be going again.
Staff was swamped but remained awesome and aware. The sausage rolls were just standard and nothing like the hype but still very good, their grinders were very good as well. I will eat here again for sure awesome little joint
One of our favorite places to eat or just have a “beverage”! The food quality and portions are exceptional and the staff is top shelf. Always enjoy sitting on the outdoor patio when the weather will allow. Highly recommend!
I wish I lived closer to this place! Now I have my favorites such as greek salad, clam chowder, sausage roll, and the pizza is bomb! The drinks are cold and the employees treat you like family. This place belongs in Fort Wayne, there is no other place quite like it.
