Played my favorite game with Ken the bartender. Make me your specialty drink...He brought me an amazing Shyt*terr!!! Amazing!!! Had the bourbon steak with grilled shrimp added...best meal I have had in years here! Thanks Ken and the rest of the staff here for a great time today!!!
On this visit our server was great. I had one of the new bowls. I asked to exchange the cilantro rice for Mexican rice (cilantro hater here) and that was no problem. I was amused but disheartened to find they put a, sort of, cilantro pesto on top. Oh well. My husband had an Alfredo one and it was so good.
I love happy hours and can't fault the excellent staff but some of my favorites have been removed but the waffle fries are a good addition. I also had the bineless wings, a $3 shot, and a 25 oz PBR draft for $4.
Very good. Went there for my birthday. I got a free dessert. Food was good. Service was a little slow. Went on a Friday early in the afternoon. We sat at the table for a good 15 minutes before our server came over. She claims she didn't see us but she was friendly And thanks for well after that she did do a good job. The 15 minutes wait is why i didn't rate 5 stars.
The 8oz sirloin was phenomenal. Mashed potatoes tasted like real potatoes, broccoli was steamed just right. The ribs were AMAZING!! French fries were perfectly seasoned. Coleslaw tasted homemade. Ken(Kenneth) our server did his job amazingly. He knew the right questions to ask and was just an amazing guy.
The food was great! I ordered the Chicken/Broccoli Alfredo, and my niece the sirloin steak on the 2 for $28 menu. The only downside to this restaurant is they only serve water that I cannot drink, so that means no coffee or tea or ice in any of my drinks. I'm an iced tea drinker. I had to drink soda, which I don't normally drink!
