Really great, hot food! The best Mexican food in Ft. Wayne that we have tasted. Our waitress was so efficient and friendly. We highly recommend La Margarita!
Excellent food, they give you a great serving but I believe it is a bit smaller since the new owner took over. Prices are very high!! Wait staff was very friendly and welcoming, but I still miss Leo and Maria!! Leo added a special charm to the family restaurant and always made you feel like an old friend.
We love this place! The food is fantastic, but the family that operates the place is even better! You will love it!

Very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. I was told by friends this was "Old School" mexican. Nothing fancy just good eats. They were spot on! I'll be back.

Great Mexican restaurant with a full bar and a family dining are. They also have a very large private parking lot which makes it nice so you don't have to park on the street. The service they provide is outstanding even though there are not many servers. You always have to get a margarita. My favorite is the Blue Margarita!

Hubby & I wanted Mexican late.... like 10:30 pm.... really.... late! I called to see if the kitchen was open, they were - but they weren't taking carry - out orders that late. HOWEVER!!!! I was told that if we came in before they closed we could still order. Hubby went and ordered. Because of the closeness to closing we were limited to non-fried foods - fryer turned off for the night( please remember it was 10:30 PM!!) We were STILL totally thankful that they even would allow us to still order with hubby showing up 10 minutes before closing.
We ordered the Big Al's special, and the Steak Burrito Grande. Both were really good and plentiful portion - just like any other time we've gone. Of course, we also got tortilla chips and salsa (complimentary) as you would if dining in.
We were not able to have margaritas - since they were closing, but that doesn't mean we won't be going back again soon.
*** side note**** Their margaritas are FANTASTIC!!!!!!
