This restaurant is amazing.
The Crab Cakes had an awesome dip that came with chips.
The Poblano Burgers is so flavorful, yum!
The Lamb Special was tasteful throughout.
Overall, great food, wonderful ambiance, and the service was exceptional.

This was by far an absolutely outstanding eating experience. Personalized by the owner who checked up on each person. The food is excellent, with no compromising on quality or freshness. Our guest assistant Amanda was constantly checking on us to make sure everything was ok. From the small plate crab cakes, to the salad, to the main entrees of tilapia and crab, ending with the perfect brown cinnamon and apple pie with ice cream, delivery, presentation, and service was well organized, timely and seamless. Parking is plentiful and the live music relaxing and not overpowering. Thank you to everyone for making an enjoyable evening happen. We will be back. A+ all the way around.

This was our 3rd time here and it did not disappoint. The toasted ravioli is to die for! The maple bacon Brussel sprouts were delicious, and the salads were really good and fresh! We absolutely will be returning. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, this place is amazing!

We really enjoy this cute little restaurant. The only downside is that there is not a full bar. Beer and wine only and the wine selection is limited. The last two visits, my shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Atmosphere and staff are great! Another thing I love is the live music in the evening, very romantic.
We typically do not order dessert but the dinner portions are not over the top and allowed us to get the donuts - they were wonderful and served warm!

This green Chile pork loin is probably the best dish I’ve had in Fort Worth 🤤

Discovering Lili's Bistro in the heart of Fort Worth has been nothing short of a culinary revelation for my wife and me. The moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with an atmosphere that instantly feels like home—warm, inviting, and full of character.
Customer service is top-notch, setting a new standard for what 'excellent' truly means. The staff are not only attentive but also anticipate your needs, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish.
However, the true star of the show is the food. Each dish is a symphony of flavors that sings to your palate. Whether it's a staple on the menu or a seasonal special, you're guaranteed to savor every last bite.
Overall, I can't recommend Lili's Bistro enough. Five out of five stars, without a doubt.

Our waitress Amy and her trainee Jessica were fantastic some of the best service we've ever had.
The food was generally fantastic.
The calamari was just a little bit overcooked. The teriyaki salmon could have used a little more flavor. However that is just nitpicking overall it was really good
Four stars for the atmosphere because it was too dark in there.
It's going on one of our favorites list and we will definitely be back

An absolute gem in Fort Worth! We loved the service and the food, it was delicious (my pictures don’t do justice). Must-haves include:
• Lili’s House Nachos
• Fried Dill Spears
• Greek Wedge Salad
• Lili’s House Burger (one of the best I’ve ever had)
Michael Haltom
We had the seafood relleno special, crab cake small plate and the chocolate torte. Everything was very good! Wonderful service

Tried something a little bit different tonight and stopped in to Lili's Bistro on Magnolia. Started off with a baked Brie appetizer with focacia bread. My wife had the macaroon flounder with rice. I tried the tenderloin medallions and added the prawns. Everything was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

This is one great place! We found a true gem! My wife and I tried this place for the first time for our anniversary and we absolutely enjoyed it. The food presentation looked so good we forgot to take pictures of entree but we did capture appetizer and dessert. We had the Asian Crab Cakes to start, very good.. my wife had the Double Lobster Ravioli and I had the Beef Tenderloin Gnocchi, so so so good! We finished dinner off with the powdered donut and coffee ice cream dessert, again very good! Great service and great atmosphere, piano player was a really nice treat too! We'll be back for sure!

Good food and atmosphere. Nice menu with lots to choose from burgers to sandwiches. The award winning burger was good while my wife loved the chicken salad sandwich. Save room though for the donuts and ice cream! A little pricey but worth a try. Very good service!

Visiting from out of town.
We stopped in for lunch after a trip to Cooks Hospital; it was very close to hospital district. We loved the charm of the restaurant.
Food was delicious; we loved the sandwiches and clam chowder.
We ordered a poblano burger to go for our son and he loved it!
We will definitely be back when we are in the FW area!:)
Thanks again for the owner’s hospitality!

We have visited here many times. Whether we have a reservation or sit at the bar, there no better service and cuisine on Magnolia Ave. Keith is our go to waiter, but all of the staff is top notch. Whether getting appetizers or a full meal, the food is always delectable. You will always get a visit from the owner showing his goal of a great dining experience.

I have been coming here since they opened. I have never had a bad experience, the staff have never been anything but that most professional, courteous, and polite. The food, regardless of what you order, will be amazing. And the Apple pie, my god, the Apple pie. I defy you to try and find better apple pie at any restaurant, anywhere.
I'm sad that I had to move 300 miles away. But anytime I come back to fort worth, you can bet I will make a trip to Lili's Bistro. Maybe I'll get lucky someday and they'll build another location down here in Houston. If that day never comes, I'll still keep going home to get some once in a while.

Went to Lili’s for dinner with friends and ordered appetizers, dinner, wine, and dessert. Food was good and we had a nice time. Then, the owner (wearing a white coat with Vance on it) came in a belligerent huff and told us he needed the table and that we had been “hogging” it for 45 mins. Just full on accusatory, guns blazing, all angry and aggressive. We had just finished paying only a few minutes earlier and immediately got up and left. No one had told us they needed the table, and we had paid for a $300-plus bill. We were shocked. On the way out, one of our group told him that the food was good but that he would not be back. Vance then followed us outside and belligerently told us we did not own the table and that we had stayed long after finishing our meal. We had not. He then proceeded to yell at us, followed us down the sidewalk, jabbed his finger in one person’s face, and slapped the cell phone out of another’s hands. His behavior was completely unprofessional and beyond rude. After pointing out to him that he was following us down the sidewalk, he then asked us why we were walking away as if he truly wanted to fight. I am aghast at his behavior and should have called the police on the spot. Jabbing your fingers in the face of someone else and slapping the phone out of someone’s hand is assault. It is most definitely not the behavior of a professional. We will never return.

Great food, pleasant service, prefer the larger side near music for evenings. Nice wine list. Patrick aims to please in all things. We are repeating customers.
Taz
Chicken salad sandwich was quite flavorful and good, the other is the half combo salad and grilled chicken seasoned well. Been here a few times I've liked other things better like the house burger

Nice cozy place down on magnolia. I would recommend reservations or showing up early. Also, it is a bit pricey but the food is well worth it. Wine selection coukd be better. Clean dining area, didn't get a chance to see the restrooms.

I had lunch here on a fairly busy day. The service seemed a bit confused at the start, as no one knew we were their table until I pointed out we had been sitting there for about 10 minutes. Once that was squared away, the service was on point. I ordered a salmon salad with Korean noodles, and it was outstanding! Dessert was great, too. I was pleased. I'll definitely return.

This is a fantastic little place. From tube exposed brick wall to the live piano music, Lili's has brilliant ambiance and the food is some of the best to be had in Fort Worth. While everything I've ordered here has been nothing short of magnificent, Lili's donuts are the best thing I've ever tasted!
Kate Jones
New Favorite Destination!. I visited Lili's Bistro last night with my boyfriend and had one of the best meals of my life. I made reservations, arrived 10 minutes early, and we were sat immediately. The ambiance of the restaurant paired with the live piano music was fantastic: Low lighting without being cave-like, lovely oil paintings on the wall, candlelit tables, comfortable seating and wonderful exposed brick, beams and ducts. Lili’s gave off good vibes as soon as I crossed the threshold.<br/> As it was half price wine night (Tues-Wed-Thurs), we ordered the house white wine, which was deliciously dry and crisp, good to the last drop. For apps, we ordered the legendary Gorgonzola fries, as well as escargot. Both small plates were fantastic, served piping hot, packed with herbaceous flavor and cooked to perfection. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them.<br/>For entrees, I ordered the autumn risotto and added salmon with a twist: Our server, Amanda, recommended that I add a Thai chili glaze to the salmon, and I wholeheartedly agreed. The risotto dish was intensely delicious. It is without a doubt one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. The sauce, sweet and tangy currant, crunchy pistachios and unctuous salmon sent me to the moon! My boyfriend ordered the seafood trio. The seafood trio’s crab cake was outstandingly crunchy and flavorful, the shrimp and salmon had all the right seasoning and were cooked expertly. So many other restaurants tend to cook seafood ‘til it turns into rubber, but not Lili’s. They clearly have an experienced kitchen staff who are bold about their seasoning and very comfortable behind the stove. We were much too full for dessert, but their tempting dessert menu, namely those donuts with coffee ice cream, do call my name loudly. Next time for sure!<br/>Amanda had finesse, charm, intelligence and a helpful mindset that is sought after in such an industry. She is clearly a professional, passionate about food and service, and is committed to making Lili’s Bistro the star that it is.<br/> I am most certainly returning with my boyfriend, and would love to bring friends and family along!

Poor Professionalism. I have had the worst experience with Lili’s catering and owner. <br/><br/>Due to the lackadaisical attitude I received trying to book a rehearsal dinner at Lili’s Bistro, I sent the following abbreviated message to the owner Vance Martin. “Lili's Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants and was our first pick for a rehearsal dinner location, unfortunately working with Lilipads has been extremely unsatisfying. I found the entire process very unprofessional. I have worked with several other restaurants in Fort Worth and have not experiences anything like it...”<br/>After sending this message I posted the identical statement to Trip Advisor Reviews, which I believe is an honest recap of my experience. After posting I received this message from the owner: “ It was my intention to find a way to try to smooth this over even though you had booked with someone else, but after reading your spiteful and mean spirited attack on TripAdvisor.com, I really don’t have much to say to you. You’ve said it all. I often wonder if people like you would be as brazen if they too had a target on their back and could have their jobs critiqued by the public. I doubt it. Enjoy your miserable life.” <br/>I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism from an owner, I honestly wonder how he stays in business. After my experience I went back and read several poor reviews on Trip Advisor which had very similar experiences. Vance himself even committed on some of the experiences with as much hostility as I received. <br/>I am a small business supported, but this is one I refuse to support. I truly hope you do not experience the same disrespect as I have.

Sub par. Saw all the reviews on here and said, wow, why haven't we tried this spot? And now I know why we haven't. Got the French dip, and the meat was dry and tasteless (even with the au ju). Girlfriend had the adult grilled cheese, which was bland and could probably be better executed at Sonic. Seemed to pair well with the undercooked fries though. Maybe it's just those two dishes that are bad, I don't know. Fried pickles were decent. Dirty menus. Dirty tables. Underwhelming service with a touch of bad attitude. I knew we should have went to the Little Red Wasp instead...:/

Beautiful and tasty. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, what's not to like?

Wow! Beautiful decor. Super quick service. The mufuletta sandwich was the best I've ever had. Fantastic place. I'm here from out of town and wish they'd open one in Atlanta so I could experience more.

Some good, none great. Atmosphere, check. Beautiful jazz piano, check. Excellent food, not so much. Some of it was pretty good but nothing stuck out as overtly wonderful. I even went for lunch and tried a burger. The music might not be as professional, but I'll stick with a Fred's burger any day.
Holly
My favorite restaurant. My husband and I visited Lilis last weekend. What a real treat. The place is just all around awesome. Christy was our server and the service was excellent. The wedge salad is always a good pick but my macaroon flounder is what brings me back. It has a honey ginger lime sauce. The gouda cream corn makes eating vegetables fun. I would suggest making a reservation because it fills up quickly.

Things you must try before you die.. From start to finish Vance continues to provide both amazing service and delicious food. We went tonight to celebrate a friends birthday and although our tastes vary we all found something we loved. From the tabouli salad and baba gunoush {yes I said Baba Gunoush} appetizers to my perfect and delicious steak medallions with black pepper gnocchi I was in heaven. And our server recommended a bottle of wine that complimented our meal perfectly{ The Prisoner} I just got home and already can't wait to go again it is well worth the drive! Thanks again to Vance and all the crew .

My once fav burger in town has gone down hill. The quality is suspect. It's now some meat-like composite between a great bun. Seriously, why??
DineNWine
Satisfactory, not great. Went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately. Food was okay, but not great. I had the Greek wedge salad and the macaroon fish. Salad was as expected, but the fish left me disappointed. It was served cooler than I'd prefer and there was too much breading on it. The Kung Fu Girl Reisling wine was good. Wait staff was average. It's located right on the street, so outdoor dining doesn't offer much atmosphere.
Chelsea
Best food in Fort Worth!. My boyfriend and I absolutely love Lilis! The menu is extensive and intriguing, whether you're there for lunch or dinner. EVERYTHING on the menu that we have tried has been so delicious! The Gorgonzola fries are to die for. Even a simple grilled cheese has been phenomenal. If you live in Fort Worth, you must try this place! Or if you're just visiting the city, I definitely would recommend trying this great little bistro.
Jayna Elam
Heavenly dessert. Wooed by the red wine chocolate cake. Convinced that it is the best dessert that I've ever had.
Tom
Perfect. Ate there twice in the last 10 days. Once for lunch and then dinner. Both times great food and service.
Courtneywalker07
We love it!. Despite the bickering comments below, Lili's is a great restaurant. If you are in a rush and want "typical" American food, then it's not for you. BUT if you want to have an enjoyable romantic night out and try some (always changing) gourmet food, then it's great! It's super small which makes the ambiance that much better. Sometimes you have to wait, even with a reservation, but there is a nearby bar that has great drinks and atmosphere, so we usually WANT to wait. :) If you want something better than the average chain restaurant then Lili's is a must try!
Jkretch
This place is just ok. The atmosphere was nice, small and quaint. The piano player ruined it for me though... Played the entire Phantom of the Opera musical, love it but variety is great! My wedge salad looked like It came from some cheap Italian place with two small pieces of cold pita that tasted like they were out of a plastic bag. Heat them up, they'll taste better! My calamari fettucini was just ok too. There was nothing that popped about it. It was a slightly spicy light marinara/vodka sauce. The Calimari were average and the panchetta was almost non-existent. This dish was $19... Give me a freaking break!!! It's flour and water and cheap additions. That dish was worth $10 tops to me. The only thing that saved the night was Darrell at the bar. Excellent wine knowledge, he reccomended some decent wine off of their ok wine list. Proceed with caution!
JB
Eh...ok. Went there tonight on a date night with my wife. It started out hopefully with the Gorgonzola fries which were decent. But, that where it ends. I had the Manny's Steak which looked appetizing, but when I bit into it it had a weird, almost Mexican like taste. The steak was not the best of quality which was covered by the weird array of sauces. The mashed potatoes underneath were not half bad. My wife got the calamari fettuccine which was also ok... probably better than my steak.<br/>It was kind of a shame as we were expecting a lot more. Very limited menu and probably over-priced. I am not a food smug in any way but I think I could cook a better steak than they put out for me. The chef did come by and asked me how everything was. I didn't want to tell her the complete truth so I said "It was great." I think I may have lied on that one.<br/>I am interested in what the owner could do to get me back in there. I am not sure we would ever go back.

Lili's Bistro - Fort Worth. Had 7:30 reservations, arrived 5 minutes early, checked in, was told our table would be ready in about 5 minutes. Fine. 35 minutes later we were still waiting for our table.<br/>It took 3 trips to the hostess to inquire and the same "stock answer" your table will be ready in 5 minutes. Finally, approaced the owner who seems to be very cordial to those people he knew. When a table did clear and we thought that would be our table was told he needed that table for 5 people (there were only 3 of us) and the 5 had a reservation at a later time than our time.<br/>The owner did; however, offer us two choices one table in a noisier part of the restaurant or wait(another 30 minutes) for a quieter place. We opted for the noiser location. The waiteress seemed to be in a hurry to get our drink order, took awhile for her to come take the dinner order, once it came we never saw the waitperson again till it was time to order dessert. The dessert menu was sort just thrown to us on the table. The restaurant is suppose to have good food; but more importantly in today's world it should also be a people business. The owner NEVER came by to apologize for our long, past due reservation time, never came by to see how our food was, though did notice he was very congenial with the people at the bar (guess bar drinks have more profit than food). Having grown up in Fort Worth with very few eating establishments it is now coming into its own. However, eating establishments come and go when the reservations are not acknowleged, wait staff is rude and THE FOOD IS MEDIOCRE. THE OWNER COULD TAKE SOME LESSONS IN RUNNING A FIRST RATE PLACE WITH A LITTLE MORE AWARENESS TO PROMPTNESS AND/OR HOW TO ACCEPT RESERVATIONS. FORT WORTH IS HUNGRY FOR NEW RESTAURANTS; BUT PEOPLE WILL NOT STAND FOR RUDNESS AND LACK OF CONCERN FOR THEIR PATRONS. WOULD I GO BACK NOT AFTER MY EXPERIENCE, NOR WOULD I TELL MY FRIENDS TO TRY IT. THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS...THEY NEED TO TAKE A LESSON FROM THEIR COMPETITOR DOWN THE STREET ELLERBE RESTAURANT WHERE THE OWNER RUNS THE PLACE BEAUTIFULLY, THAT IS WHY YOU CANNOT GET A RESERVATION THERE FOR OVER A WEEK IN ADVANCE. TAKE NOTICE LILI'S...IF YOU TREAT ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS (WHETHER YOU KNOW THEM OR NOT)LIKE WE WERE TREATED<br/>YOU WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Lili's Bistro Great find on Magnolia. Magnolia street is an "artsy" street on the south side of Ft. Worth, TX with a number of interesting & quaint eating establishment, one being Lili's Bistro on Magnolia. We got there early around 11am since we had an appointment just after noon, good thing because the bistro filled up fast by noon. Needless to say the food, service & the owner were OUTSTANDING, we will go again. FYI, the name Lili is the name of the owner's daughter, a very nice man I failed to get his name. Their website is http://lilisbistro.com/ The bistro consists of two eating areas, one having the bar & a piano, piano music in the afternoon & evenings. There is parking in the rear with a rear entrance to the bistro FYI. We'll see you there some day, "do drop in", you won't be disappointed *Ü*

Just ate there with my girlfriend last Friday, can't think of a better place for a date night. In fact, she insists that all future date nights be at this establishment. The petite beef Wellington is incredible, as is the service and atmosphere. My girlfriend had the macaroon flounder, also wonderful. The owner actually chatted us up for a few minutes and made us feel very welcome. In the words of my girl friend "Vance is just a doll!" He spoke to many of his patrons, and if anyone wasn't his friend, I couldn't tell. He's a gracious host and kind of added to the small restaurant's charming ambiance. Oh, and in response to Anna's review, he was wearing a shirt and not lustfully staring at my date. Thanks for a great experience, Lilis.

First time tonight! I plan on adding it to the regular rotation! I'll be back!

Good Sevice Crapy Food. We went with a party of 11 and were well served by our waitress. In my opinion the food was way over priced and not a great quality. They served my daughter bacon wrapped scallops that were burnt to a crisp. Then they charged my credit card four times. After contacting them every day they have told us there is nothing they can do. It has been 3 days and the charges are still on my account. The manager was a total jerk. My family and I will not be returning to this place ever again. Hide you credit cards people.

Creepy!!!!!!! =(. I had a very bad experience at Lili's Bistro on a Saturday Night. I was with one of my friends at the very pretty bar that they just added to the regular room when i felt that someone was so looking at me in a very creepy way and I asked the Bar tender who that gentleman was and she responded " oh he is Vence Marin, the owner" he had no shirt on and she would held a glass of red wine on his hand looking at me on an appropriate way while he smiled. What a lack of class....<br/>I asked the bartender for our check and we left. That person is so unappropriated and disrespectful in the way he looked at Ladies. Like a creepy eye or something. Whoa!!! never come back!! I could not enjoy my dinner in a pleasant way!!!!
Linda Ruth Sanders
Will NOT go back!!!. The waitperson was so rude, it was like hurry, hurry and hurry quick, so I can get you out and make more money on this table. It was my Sister's Birthday and the completely out of line waitperson ruined our dining experience and her special day. She came back w/ Cynthia's BD dessert *which I purchased and gladly so, dropped the dessert down on the table, stuck a candle in it lit it and slamed the ticket down on the table, and walked off in huff. The food was just okay, nothing special. I read about Lil's and thought it would be a neat new place to go in the city...we live an hour plus from FW. Funny be/c my neighbor said her friend went to Lil's for lunch...and experienced THE SAME TREATMENT. So good-bye Lil's we won't be back. You & your food SUCK.
Jane
Horrible food. Arrogant owner who has no class or humility. Worst choice on Magnolia.

Great!. Awesome. My husband and I visited for our anniversary and loved the place. The ambiance was nice and there were excellent options for both my husband (a meat eater) and myself (a vegetarian). I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great meal at a unique restaurant.
Teresa
So good. This place is amazing. Everything we've had from the menu has been ridiculously good, and the service is excellent.

Thus reateraunt was great! Tried the gorgonzola fries, Lili's house burger, and chicken kings ranch stuffed poblano pepper. Everything was exceptional! Service was good. For dessert tried the key lime pie with pistachio crust was the clear winner. But my favorite aspect of this reateraunt was the textures of all the food, perfectly ballanced. It's wonderful fusion of French and contemporary. The food is wonderfully flavored, the texture is silky smooth, and the ballance in the dishes is worthy of praise. Don't overlook this liltle bistro!

Not the best seafood.... After waiting for 30 minutes for our reservation, my husband and I were served sub-par shrimp scampi and rubbery scallops. We tried back a few weeks later, hoping for better food. The eggplant bruschetta was pretty good, but we waited way too long for it. When we asked our server about it, she got the owner for us. He was rude and short with us. We will not be returning to Lili's. Ever. Under any circumstances.
Ron Sturg
Poblano pepper stuffed with king ranch was really good
Susan
Gorgonzola Fries. Only been here for lunches. The burgers and gorgonzola cheese fries are so good that I don't mind eating outside in 100+ degree weather during the summer.

Awesome..... I first went to Lili's Bistro the day it opened, and I knew this place was a winner from the moment I walked through the door. Fabulous food, one of the best burgers in the DFW-- and VERY different than many of the other burgers on the scene. The decor is tasteful, the food is tasty and the service is excellent. Our team from the hospital comes there every couple of weeks as a large group, with a very short window of time to eat and get back to work. Vance always makes sure we can get a seat together and squeeze us in as one large group. It is his attention to service, his flexibility to our need and the exceptional food that has kept us coming back for years. Although I must admit, sometimes we cheat on Lili, and visit Cat City Grill... but I'm sure Vance doesnt mind.

Great Food, very good service. Yes, this is also a wine bar, but the food is well focused and executed quite well.<br/>We started with the Tzatziki Medley (Traditional Greek Tzatziki cucumber-yogurt dip served with a side of Tabouli, a side of their Bulgher & Berries and fried pita bread wedges), and the Phyllo Wrapped Halloumi (tasty, but a little too greasy).<br/>For the Entrees we ordered the day's Special (Polenta Crab with a cajun shrimp topping) and the Crab Cakes. Wow! Even the sides and the tomato wedge were tasty.<br/>For dessert I went for the new item they have: vanilla ice cream served with almond chocolate and bacon. Hard to describe, but you've got to try it.<br/>FYI: If you don't call ahead for a reservation, you will be seated outside if you show up during their lunch/dinner rush(which is fine for people watching if the weather is behaving). But there are only 8-tables outside and no place for anyone to wait around if you are out of luck for a table. So be prepared: they are well managed and courteous but leave no room to accommodate clueless diners with no manners.

I can't get that burger out of my mind.. Living in Texas all my life, and enjoying good food, I've had a lot of burgers. I've never had one in the same league as the Gorgonzola burger on sourdough at Lili's. It is simply amazing. Like Fort Worth Hole in the Wall said, it kills you with happiness. We've loved everything else we've tried here as well, including salads, grilled chicken and tenderloin. Our friends enjoyed the salmon very much. The Gorgonzola wedge salad is heavenly. I don't normally care for iceberg lettuce, but this dressing makes it worth it. <br/><br/>We've always had good, pleasant service. The atmosphere is lovely. The patio is wonderful in good weather. The prices are not outrageous like they could be with such good food. We keep going back because it's all wonderful. Parking is definitely an issue, though.

Funky charm. Enjoyed our starters and entrees- wasabi wontons and crab cakes were standouts. Atmosphere and service was delightful as well.
Food-dude
Funky, fun & delicious!. Lili's is about creativity - think "nouveau comfort food" - the signature waffle fries with Gorgonzolla are a must - tilapia in all its forms rocks here - the enchiladas are served almost deconstructed - very interesting - desserts are awesome, wine selection interesting and different - don't get the king ranch chicken unless you have time for a nap afterwards

"best service possible"?. I will start off by saying that the food is good and they have a unique selection, and these are the reasons that my co workers I became regulars here in the early months of the Lili's opening. <br/><br/>However, my last time there was an experience that has kept me away since. I ordered a cheese buger which I discovered still had the paper wrapping on the cheese, after I had eatin half of it. My co workers joked around and gave me a hard time about eating wax paper and what it was doing to my insides. The waiter asked us what happened and they explained that the chef had left the cheese wrapper on my burger. He then apologized and said that he would take care of it. So, we assumed he would take off a percentage of my bill or offer me a dessert as a peace offering. Nothing happened and we got our bills, to which they asked me if they had taken anything off and I said no. They went on about how that was crap and that Lili's should do something, but since I am what people would refer to as an avoider, I told my friends it was ok. However, they did not feel that same way and told the waiter to tell the manager that they would like to see something done in the form of an apology. The waiter returned and said that the manager did not want to make a big deal out of it. They asked the waiter to inform the manager that we would not return if he did not want to make this right. The waiter came back with the same response. I felt as if I should at least get some sort of effort/apology since we had become fairly regular customers. <br/><br/>Instead, this is what I got. I was filling out one of those comment cards to let them know that I thought the situation could have been handled better. But before I could start, the manager, Vance, came out and said that he "would save me some time". And there, he lectured and complained to me for a good five minutes about why I expected something because I ate some waxed paper. Overall, I was pissed at the fact that my co workers were the ones asking for a reasonable form of an apology and I was the one who got bombarded verbally by someone who claims they provide the "best service possible". I realize the owner may have been going through a tough time, but he has a business to run and I simply expected more from a place I was growing to really like. We emailed back and forth but Vance stood by his original rant until he had received emails from our friends and then he offered us a gift card in hopes that we would return. However, with the amount of good food in Fort Worth, I never felt like returning to a place that treated me so poorly. <br/><br/>Sorry for the long review and to any one who has had to suffer through my complaining, I normally only have good things to say about places and rarely complain but this one pissed me off. I hope you have a more enjoyable experience than I did.
Michael
Good specials. Dropped into Lili's once later on a Friday night with some friends. They had some interesting specials on the menu that day and I decided to try the baked flounder topped with shrimp and fresh crab. While the portion was a tad on the small side for the money, it was still a very good dish. <br/><br/>I've heard much of this Gorgonzola Burger and I've been meaning to get in there to try it. This will be my mission for my next visit, there will for sure be a next time.

Lili's food is not even ordinary. There are many great restaurants on Magnolia, this is not one of them. The service is only Barely adequate. Save yourself the time and money.

I paid a lot of money for the toughest pork ever! The place is cute, the service is nice, but the food did not impress me or my husband.

Perfect spot for couples

The Best In Town. Lili's house burger is the best burger by that I've ever eaten. I am not a burger fan and I generally never order burgers. I tried a piece of my friends burger and fell in love. Everything I have tried there has been wonderful. This is my new favorite spot.

Small but Awesome. I love this place. You must try the Lili's House Burger. The gorgonzola dressing is fabulous, and you must have it on their Jalapeno Bun. We have taken many people to eat at Lili's and the reaction is always the same, "Great food."<br/>Thanks to Vance Martin for a great food experience.

Absolutely love Lili's! We have never been disappointed, and I routinely refer people to Lili's for the service, the food, and the experience of Fort Worth's friendly atmosphere

First time we arrived 15 minutes early, walked in, and told to come back later. Ummm, no thanks. Second time, we arrived after opening. Nothing Brazilian on the menu - I know, I am a Brazilian. I asked why, and he said "this is not a Brazilian restaurant, I fired my gauchos..." Gauchos are Argentines, dumb@ss. Then I had the worst chicken fried steak ever. Thank God I was in the hospital district. Never again.

Do not go here with a party over 4 people. Service was severely lacking. This place is for wine drinkers and pretentious beer drinkers because of the limited and unimaginative selection. Food was good but wasn't worth the wait, especially with no bread for the table.

Wonderful food!. Never have we been disappointed at Lili's! The food is amazing in a low-key setting.

Fantastc!. We really enjoyed our meal. Tom was our server and was very friendly and knowledgable of everything on the menu. The food was fantastic. I would highly recomend this restaurant.

Lili's Bistro on Magnolia, FW. I have never had any problems with the owner, the food, or the service at Lili's. Food is GREAT! Owner is running his wheels off and doing that very, very graciously every time I've been around him - with not even a hint of anything non PC and certainly never "racist". This is a very, very fine place to dine - try it; you'll like it! Crab cakes and escargot are to die for! Sitting outside under the umbrellas is a delight, too!

The charm of Fairmont. This restaurant is one of the reasons the Fairmont area of South Fort Worth went from Ghetto to fine living. I am shocked to read such a poor review from my predecessor here. Obviously there must have been a personality conflict as several couples and myself have had nothing but fine dining and fine treatment. The owner "Vance Martin" is a direct man who takes his food serious. I find it amazing that someone would consider the man a racist. I am among a group of diverse friends who are black, white, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, and one enchanting friend from the Dominican. We have never been treated anything less than respectful at Lili's. I remember when my Dominican friend was not happy with a dish and asked to have it sent back for another. My friend received another dish that was more than pleasant (in his words). My guess once again is that there must have been an obvious personality conflict with you and Vance or you were looking for a free meal. My only suggestion is try the Salvation Army for those free meals, because dining at Lili's is a true luxury.

If you are a cheeseburger “purest,” this place may not be for you. It is a bistro and has that feel and the food (as you can see) is served with a chef’s flair. The burgers are flavored well and cooked medium (the way it should be.) You get your choice of sourdough or jalapeno bread for the bun. The fries are waffle-style and we even tried them with s

Have you been to Lili's yet? Did you get the golden gorgonzola burger that kills you with happiness? If not, then why are you reading this? Is it just to make me feel good? That's cool. As you've heard from me and everybody else, Lili's is a terrific plac
