We visited Heim BBQ around 8PM on Sunday and they were out of most of the meats. Still got opportunities to try out beef brisket and Texas style sliced sausages and sides (fries, beans and potato salad). Brisket was really yummy (very juicy and tender), sausages and sides were good. They got a small bar inside which is very convenient. Overall it was a good experience and I recommend this place 👍

The brisket here is good! The banana budding is also good. However, the bread in this sandwich is a little dry, and the sauce is a bit tangy. Either way, it's still good, legit brisket!

Came here best in their Google reviews and they are true. The brisket was so juicy, moist and tender. The sides were good and very big portions- had the potato salad, Mac and cheese (had a smoky corn taste) - coleslaw was great as well. Food came up fast. BBQ sauce on the table was perfectly sweet and tangy

We went out of our way to come here because the reviews looked so good. And this was the only? Bbq place that had pork belly, which I love. We ordered pork belly, cheddar sausage, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Tbh.. our first reaction was, wait is this it 💀 small portion gave us initial disappointment. The pork belly was so chewy and flavorful, but I wish it was less dry 😭 I had a really high expectation for this. And seriously?! Only like two strips?? Like come on 😭 The sausage was very fatty and cheesy, we both loved this. Surprisingly, the Mac and cheese was the treasure! It was so good. I would visit again for the pork belly but.. it wasn’t that satisfying as what reviews hyped it up to be 🥲

This was my second time here. The service is outstanding as is the BBQ. It taste clean. You don't need any sauce on the meat it's that good. The sides were amazing as well. Especially love the mac and cheese and the potato salad. Great neighbourhood as well!

Yum yum yummy! Got a 2-Meat Platter with three sides to split three ways - with Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and Pulled Pork as the main stars of the show. Mac n' Cheese, Pinto Beans, and Twice Baked Potato Salad were also infinitely delicious! Can't go wrong with any of the options, but will probably shoot for the potato salad and beans as my two main platter sides the next time (three sides was a lot of food, even splitting it three ways!).

Delicious barbecue! The best in Fort Worth possibly. The wait can be pretty long so plan ahead. The brisket is tender and portions are pretty sizable. Bbq sauce is great as well. Flavor is on the sweeter end of things.

The food was amazing and genuinely some of the best barbecue I've ever had. You could've sucked the brisket through a straw it was so tender! I also highly recommend the bacon burnt ends. They're like meat candy!

I will start off by saying I messed up. You must try the twice baked potato salad. I’m not big on potato salad but this is definitely worth it. The Mac was amazing. The brisket was delicious. And I can’t even begin to say how mouth watering the burnt ends were. The overall atmosphere was great. It’s in a great location just outside of downtown Fort Worth. Very chill environment and the serve alcohol which is a plus! They are worth the stop if you are in the area. They are a little pricey however, when it comes to BBQ I would say they are pretty on par with most other places especially for the quality. I spent about $30 for my meal and drink. The Cowboy Plate (brisket, burnt ends, 2 sides).

Really good BBQ. The bacon tips are unique and tasty, and the sides are fantastic. The twice baked potato salad is a must try, and the beans have a great flavor and kick. Jalepeno cheese sausage is really good. IMO Texas BBQ joints must rise and fall on their brisket, and I found Hein to be 4 star. Nice bark and simple meat flavor without too much seasoning. Would definitely go back for more.

10outta10 would recommend. Everything was a yum for me. The only things that might cause some to pause would be the peach cobbler has some kind of cake or cookie batter crumble type of topping instead of actual crust. I would prefer normal cobbler crust but this was good. Also for those that like mustard based potato salad, this ain't that. You might not like theirs. Also, the green chili Mac and cheese. That's different than the usual. It was good, but it's just different. Their bbq sauce is sweet which I love but I know others prefer savory... other than that the brisket the ribs the sausage the burnt ends the fries everythAng was good. Oh sweet tea could've been sweeter but if you like a half and half then you'll like it.

Best BBQ in Fort Worth! I love all of their food, but I highly recommend getting the brisket as your main meat! It is my favorite. Again, all the sides are fabulous, but I get the mac & cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad the most. And to finish it off, cobbler for dessert is a must!

Best BBQ in Fort Worth. Look no further. Your brisket search starts/ends here. Plus they got other star food items as well. The bacon burnt ends, as well as their other sides really set the stage for an overall first-class, authentic Texan meal for the ages. Plus the owners are some of the best in the biz. Really care about their employees and customers. I hope they are around forever.

Food was fabulous! Green chili Mac & cheese was melt in your mouth delicious. The greens are a definite must! Service left a little to be Desiree, but was not the worst I have ever experienced. Will definitely be back!

Had their Cowtown Platter with brisket and their famous "bacon burnt ends." Heim was surprisingly good with large portions. I'd be happy to go there again. They were selling out of almost all the proteins by 7:00 PM on a weekday, so go early.

First, the food is AMAZING at Heim...some of the best smoked meats I've ever had. The sides were outstanding. The staff was friendly and on point, despite the place being absolutely packed to the gills on our stopover night in Fort Worth. We were, in fact, afraid we might not get in with the long line stretching to the street. Enter Jordan, bartender and host extraordinare...he noticed us working our way through the line and told my wife that he could submit our orders himself if we didn't mind sitting at the bar. SOLD! Seriously, Jordan personally turned what could've been a downer of an evening for us 180 degrees into a fully enjoyable dining experience. I've crossed paths with hundreds of bartenders in my lifetime, most of them in the Washington D.C. region...and Jordan can hang with the very best. Attentive, welcoming, personable and FAST...you should see this guy at work! Thanks, Jordan and the rest of the Heim team for providing one of the best BBQ experiences of our lives!
