Food was fantastic. If I would have had an attentive waitress would have got a full five stars. When my mother-in-laws steak and shrimp or served we ask for ranch. Did not get. I got one glass of tea and the waitress never checked on me so I eight half my steak dinner with no drink. Like I said if I got a good waitress place would have been magnificent

Salt Grass, took a party of six there Called with an arrival estimate, was seated quickly, and ate well. Parking was spacious when compared to the estimate of people inside. They have a seven layer cake that is absolutely Impressive. When I am not too full, I order it with a glass of milk. Steaks were fine, ordered a small one (expecting cake) but was just too full to ask for it. Staff was pretty friendly, considering the crowd.

But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the carrot cake. I've heard it's the best in town, and now I can confirm that it's true. The carrot cake at Saltgrass Steak House is a slice of heaven. Moist, decadent, and generously frosted, it was the perfect way to end our meal. Food is okay. Make sure if you request your steak rare or medium rare that you tell them to not press your steak down on the charcoal grill because then it will come out then way you want inside but burnt outside, you will only be able to taste the burnt top and not the steak. They're very generous about redoing your steak though. If you get the Mac n cheese, eat that first because it gets cold fast and then doesn't taste too good. I also recommend the brisket dip and chips! Staff is very nice and great service.
