This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I with our 15th month old went here for dinner and we had Peter for our server. Probably some of the best service we’ve had as a family especially at a seafood restaurant in Fort Worth. The food was absolutely fantastic and very well priced. Plus they have an amazing Firemans four light on draft which is pretty hard to find. Highly recommend coming here for a family date night or even some cocktails. Also, the seafood is pretty amazing for being in the panhandle of Texas.

The Young man’s Edwin hospitality is the best opening up the door for customers is a plus for me. You don’t get that type of service at many restaurants and Jack the server was the best I’ve had y’all have great food and fast service. This will be my go to on occasion. I’m just lost for words on how marvelous the service is!!!!!!

Ive been to Tricky Fish twice and if you love fried shrimp this place is hard to beat. The food & drink menu is really good and the service has been very good once snd a bit slow once, but the food made it worth it. I am a seafood lover and plan to return. The atmosphere is more towards the louder young crowd with a large round bar than a conservative one. I love stopping by Whole Foods then eating here. Recommended.

What a nice place. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are wonderful. My friend took me here to grab a bite and let me tell you, I was very pleased. Michael, our waiter, was awesome! He was attentive and offered options he felt were great! I can't remember the bartender's name, but she knew my friend's drink order by heart, which let's me know my friend is a regular 😊. She, too, was very attentive paying attention to drink levels and being ready to take another order when she was ready. We ordered the calamari, chips and queso, and the Grilled Thai wings with ginger peanut slaw, which was the WINNER of the night! I ordered my husband the fish and chips to go, and although I lived 45 minutes away, a pop into the air fryer revived the meal back to its original state, and he enjoyed it.

We had been looking for seafood and my wife found Tricky Fish. The food was wonderful. The peel and eat shrimp were huge. Darn near could make a meal out of them. You select the type of seafood you want and then there is a choice six main sides. My wife choose shrimp on ouzo. I had a special blackened grouper with a carrots and fried potatoes. The drinks were great. Dessert had to have the French Toast Sundae. It was great.

Really amazing service and great atmosphere! The food was flavored well. The French Toast Sundae was absolutely phenomenal‼️ My wife and I will be coming once a month for that dessert alone.

Good food and good service. There are great options on the menu. The red fish was terrific, as was the macaroni and cheese. My entire party enjoyed their food. The old fashioned was very tasty. Can't wait to try the desserts next time.

Very nice place to grab some quality seafood. We stopped in for brunch. There was about a 15 minute wait so we decided to sit at the bar. Everything on the menu looked so good. We decided on the crab cakes and subbed in dirty rice & mashed potatoes for the slaw. Pricing not bad either.

My wife and I tried this place after a recommendation from a co-worker. The food was excellent. I had the tricky platter with red fish and the wife had a fish and shrimp platter. Dessert was a delicious banana pudding with rum. Our waiter was Peter who was excellent as well. There was a manager, sorry I can't remember his name, but he also would checked on us as well and made sure we enjoy our visit. We will definitely be becoming back as regular customers.

This place doesn't look like much on the outside but it's beautiful and welcoming on the inside. Seemed to not have much wait staff so each one was very busy. However we wanted for nothing. The food was over the top. I had fish and chips. The fish was huge and delicious. It was a beautiful white cod, so flaky and moist. My husband had a shrimp and catfish platter. He shared with me if course. The fried shrimp was a generous portion and cooked to perfection. The catfish was ok but nothing special. We subbed Mac and cheese for coleslaw and it was wonderful. This place was a little pricey for lunch but we would return in a heartbeat and was worth every penny.

Great food, great service while we waited. (Kitchen was slammed, therefore very slow.) Atmosphere light, trendy. The fried green tomatoes and calamari appetizers were delicious. Light and crispy. I ordered from their brunch menu: shrimp, oysters, and grits. So good! I had them put the BBQ sauce on the side and ended up not even needing it. Oh, and a sunny side up egg on top! I'll be back on a less crowded day to try other menu items, too.

It was a really great experience. Nice atmosphere, very casual. We really like the bar. The team. They are always nice, always friendly and always make the best drinks. The menu items are really good, it's not just tacos, not just fish, they have all sorts of great foods. We ordered the Thai chicken wings and the boil and peel shrimp for appetizers. They were really good, especially the Thai chicken wings, they were sweet and hot, we will definitely be ordering those again . For the entree we ordered the cheeseburger and the fish and chips. The cheeseburger was wonderful. We had everything on it, we do highly recommend it. The fish and chips were nice. Not too greasy. We substitute the fries for mac and cheese which was a nice touch. Would we recommend this place, of course we do. High marks on food service and team.

I asked my baby girl who is now approaching her mid 40s. Where do you want to have your birthday diner at. She chose Tricky Fish. We had the calamari appetizer. Then the fish and chips main coarse. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portions were large. We neither one had room for dessert. The waiter asked if we needed anything else. My answer was a wake call in 45 minutes.

Cute place! We walked right in on a Friday night with no wait. Food was good. Our server was efficient and attentive, not super friendly though. Over all, great place for an easy night out and will return.
