Finally made it to experience the only night a week they are open, Friday night for the surf and turf… started off with fresh gulf oysters on the half shell, steak was cooked just the way I ordered it, fresh gulf shrimp fried to perfection. We ordered extra potato and salad and wife and I split …… our friends ordered the flounder in some some I don’t remember and he loved his as well. Don’t be surprised if you walk in and not crowded, usually a breakfast and lunch place and only open on Friday nights just for this, give it a try you won’t regret it.

The food was good (even though I ordered over med eggs and got scrambled). The server was good, A bit slow but nice, she kept the coffee full and made sure we were taken care of. Over all a better experience than the first time I ate here.

Great breakfast diner, the food is excellent, the manager/owner is very attentive and the service there is amazing. Definately recommend if in the area and in the mood for breakfast/brunch.

These are some of the best porkchops I've had in a long time, I'm really glad I got to stop in for breakfast.

Awesome service. Food prepared promptly, no long waiting. Coffee was refilled regularly, and the breakfast was good, with healthy portions. I had to remember that I was in Texas, not back home in New Mexico or I would've given it 5 stars.

The food was great and got to us fast but the best part was the lady that served us! She was so sweet and nice! Got all sorts of food options from breakfast to even healthy options. Been a vegetarian I usually don’t have many choices but here there’s plenty too. Not to deter anyone who loves meat or seafood, they got it! Great place to even just sit down and have a coffee.

This place has been around for a long time. The new owner, Buddy, is awesome. The food is great! If you are ever in the area and looking for a good Breakfast, stop by. I would recommend the chicken fried steak. It’s a freshly battered cooked to order. As a self made CFS connoisseur, I would rank this one in my top 5 up there with Mary’s out in Strawn & Jake and Dorothy’s out in Stephenville.

My group of friends and I stopped here after a long hot motorcycle ride from OKC. We weren't sure what to expect but I'll just say that they exceeded whatever we could have imagined. The owner greeted us with a big welcome and a smile. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and everything he had available. Him being a former Navy Sailor, he immediately connected with the Vets in our group. He was so attentive and quick. Our glasses were filled quickly, our food brought out at a very reasonable time. All of us left full and happy, ready for the rest of our trip. We were all very happy to find this little gem of a place and we will definitely be back to visit on our next trip up to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Thank you so much for brightening our day in this tough time!!

Thank you to the overwhelmed staff that is busting their butts and actually willing to work. It’s not their fault nobody wants to work. At least they show up and serve the customers flooding into the restaurant on Sunday mornings. Our server probably had 20 tables and was one of two total servers working during the church rush. He apologized profusely to everyone he helped. There was no need to apologize. You were doing everything you could.
