This place is one of my fav's! I love authentic Mexican food and that is what you get here....not TexMex!! I always take home some of their Salsa Verde.
Favorite Burritos!. Always go here for authentic mexican food! love the service! i always get the intestines burrito. yes it is authentic so organ meets can be involved.
This place is as good as you are going to find if you want real Mexican tacos, not fancy just good food
Superb, authentic mexican food. Juanito's Taqueria is among the other brightly colored buildings on Hemphill that specialize in Mexican cuisine. But make no mistake, there is no comparison. Step into the building and you are immersed in a loud, deliciously smelling taqueria that screams authenticity. The loud banging of knives hitting cutting boards and the festive moods and conversations of the customers give this restaurant a freshly unique edge when compared to the quasi-Mexican dining concoctions advertised to us.
Don't be intimidated, the long line moves very quickly (the average wait, in the case of an extremely long line, would probably be around 8 minutes). Nor be intimidated by the fixated eyes of the clientele, people watching is common in hispanic cultures and seeing a non-hispanic enter is probably quite suprising to the majority of the patrons.
The menu consists of the well-known Mexican favorites; tacos and burritos are the majority of what the people get. I recommend ordering a "torta", I guess you could call it a Mexican po' boy. I recommend researching the names of meats in spanish if you are not familiar with the language (i.e. pork, steak, chicken, ect.). When ordering you will have to raise your voice enough so that the man who makes your food can hear you (you are separated by a glass barrier and the banging from the knives). I'm fairly positive the woman at the register speaks english along with a few of the cooks if you have any trouble.
Tacos , Tacos and more Tacos. Work, takes me by this place often, i love it. these tacos are the real deal, no tex mex here. Served on corn or flour tortillas( corn is the traditional mexican choice), They have many choices of meats and long lines, served simple with two tortillas, choice of meat, chopped onions, cilantro and of course salsa. These are tacos. Don't be intimidated by the clientel, english is spoken at the register.
The tacos were good, I was disappointed that they didn’t have pastor. The quesadilla was really tasty, the fajita meat was greatly seasoned. Tamarindo and horchata aguas were just right, not too sweet. I wouldn’t say I would drive 45 minutes out of my way to eat here, but if I’m in the area, I’ll probably stop by again.
Great service, great tasting food, great atmosphere. The food here was great: fresh, hot, well seasoned, & authentic. Additionally, the menu items are approximately priced. The food is presented in a modified cafeteria style (think Chipotle, but much, much, MUCH better) so, if you are someone who like substitutions and/or likes to see your ingredients assembled, you are in luck. They have a great selection of Mexican sodas and aqua frescas. If you are in the area, check this place out!
I went to eat here about 10 years ago and I love their food. They this week I went again to see if they are still good and I was happy to learn that they are still great tacos. The only thing that was disappointing was that they didn’t not have any tripa tacos so I had beef and carnitas. They were both really good. I really recommend this place if you are in the area.
Fast service. Fresh. Delicious. One of the best original tacos in town.
Good food and service, barbacoa tacos are delicious 😋 it's always busy so parking is hard to find.
This is an authentic taco spot in Fort Worth with a super convenient drive thru! I struggle to find genuinely good taco spots with drive thrus so this is a gem. I decided to dine in when I came to this spot to get the full experience. They have a large selections of meats and you can watch it prepared right in front of you once you order. I ordered a taco plate that comes with rice, beans, and your choice of three tacos. The rice and beans were lacking a bit and the lengua was a little dry but I would come back again.
I ordered the 3 carnitas tacos with rice and beans.
The rice and beans were very good and fresh.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great tacos for $10
OMG this is the best food in fort worth. I dream of this place, they move fast so know your order
Been coming here for years. The chicharrron is crispy 👌. Best tacos in the south.
Awesome food! There was a line to get in the building but it moved very quick. We got tacos with carnitas and a torta. You must stop if you can.
Finally found a great taco shop! A la carta carne asada and chorizo tacos tasted amazing!!!! They also have agua de Jamaica, mi favorito! The salsa verde is hottt and flavorful. I will be coming back! Thank you so much for this experience 💜
Juanitos Taqueria was really good, I enjoyed the food and the customer service was really good as well they have a verity of meats to choose from and they have great flavor. I will definitely be coming back. I would recommend to try this place.
Honestly, the taco staple in Fort Worth. I always get the tacos de carne asada and Jarritos. Line can be long sometimes but quick service. Love the burritos too!
Very good food loved the to tacos got my girlfriend menudo she loved it been back a few times for lunch
The taste of the food is great. But tacos are $2.25 each. Are $1 tacos dead?
Love these tacos! Authentic Mexican tacos. One of my favorite places in the area
