If they could actually put the cheese and pickles I paid extra for on the sandwich that'd be great. At least subway can do that. *update* they fixed it the next day. Tastes even better with the extras!

Fantastic place downtown. Was working at Bass Hall and stopped in for lunch. Major win!!! I even brought home a meatball grinder for my 14 yr old and he destroyed it after wrestling practice. I feared for my life when I told him that was the only one. :-)

Amazingly friendly staff and great bread. Loved watching Gloria pull and prepare the next batch. Delicious concept sandwiches and my 4 year old loved it too.

Trey's Chow Down Place was fantastic, staff is friendly, big smiles, bread was toasted to perfection, and sandwiches where packed full. Give them a try! You can see my foodie review on Treys Chow Down!

I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Lettuce wrap. It was better than I expected, but not sure if I would order it again. I do not really like processed chicken so the taste was not authentic. However the staff was very kind.

This place has some really good subs and a quirky ordering system. I got the bbq brisket full sub and was given a playing card to identify the order. Sub was pretty good and was fast to come out! I bumped a star because while it was good and the cookie was amazing, it hurt my wallet a bit more than I would have liked, even for a downtown sub shop

Okay there is a saying--a sandwich is a sandwich--and when you grew up eating bologna and white bread, I suppose that statement is true. BUT, these days you have a variety of subs and sandwiches and each has its own flair. Last week I tried Planet Sub for the first time and the grilled pastrami was so good, my second visit (in 3 days) brought me back to the same sandwich. Do I wish the footlong could squeeze and extra inch of pastrami? Absolutely! I got the same thing twice (from the same server and same person at the register) and it simply is good all the way around. Here is two shots of the SAME sandwich and I'm sure the next time I return, I'm getting the same thing again. So, this 4-star rating is based solely on one good damn sandwich. Sorry mama, it's not your bologna!

They mostly have pre-set sandwiches to order, it's not build-your-own like Subway. They make their bread in-house, generally pretty fresh tasting. Not overpriced for a downtown restaurant. I get a half sandwich and a bag of chips (no drink) and it comes out to just under $8 without tip. If you come during weekday lunch, there is usually a wait of about 15-25 minutes after ordering.

After reading this first review I was certainly hesitant to try this place...seemed busy enough....so, I gave it a shot. I was glad that I did! The service was efficient and, since it was my first time to a Planet Subs, I had plenty of questions. I am working on my health and always looking for an alternative for a low calorie meal. I found it here....I had the Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wrap...hot...as suggested. I loved it...great crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, great chicken and just the right spice, in my opinion. I can't wait to try the other low calorie options.

I each sandwiches 3-4 times a weeks and this is one of the best sandwich places I have ever had. I make it a point to come here every time I am in Fort Worth. Just wish there was a location in Dallas.

I've been having these guys deliver sandwiches to me for over a month now (to downtown Fort Worth) - a total of at least 10 subs. There have been no mistakes. Delivery in 20-25 minutes every time. But that's not what matters. What matters is, these are the best sandwiches I've ever had. They beat Subway (duh), Jimmy John's, Great Outdoors, Which Wich, Thundercloud, Jersey Mike's, Jason's Deli, East Hampton, Quiznos (oof), Potbelly's, Firehouse, Oliver's, everybody. EVERYBODY. And it's not even close. If you pitted Steve Urkel against an A-10 Warthog in a no-holds-barred death match to the death, the outcome would not be more lopsided than this sandwich competition! Their originals are actually original. Good bread. Every sub can be a wrap. Lots of choices when you customize. (Hello, sprouts. Great to see you again. You still make iceberg lettuce look like a government-subsidised waste of farm land.) They offer more condiment choices than most places offer vegetables. The Signature Chicken is served in soft, seasoned bite-sized pieces. I usually prefer sliced meats over chunks. But after eating it, they could serve it in the form of The Destructor, and I'd happily scarf it down. Today I made a sandwich with five meats and three cheeses. Why? Because they will let me, and it's affordable! And, yes, it was glorious. It's all glorious. These guys are on a whole different level of sandwich-making. Think I'm lying? Buy one. I dare ya. P.S. A word to the wise: if you like spicy, get the chipotle sauce. It's bold, so bring your big boy taste buds. You'll be glad you tried it.

I go here everyday i'm downtown for lunch. I always get the chicken salad. The service is absolutely top notch as is quality of food. Whenever family visits, I insist on going here as the food is fresh and the prices are fair.

Best sub sandwich that has more ingredients and thin bread. Other sub sandwich places use real thick sub bread so you get way too much bread and less ingredients

I've had better BUT Bill Cosby himself made it for me on the very day my daughter was born not shortly after I won everything I ever wanted!!! It holds a close second though!

Best albacore tuna sandwich I have had downtown for the price. It's not a mayonnaise sandwich with some mushy tuna like some competitors!

BBQ tempeh was tasty, and the veggie choices were varied enough to keep it interesting. Not too busy at 1200 on a Monday.

I eat here often and always face the street and notice the Subway across the street has very little business while this place is always jumping. Favorite sandwich is the Experience.

I was looking for somewhere near my office that I hadn't tried so I dropped in and was not disappointed. Friendly staff and the sandwich was great.
