I've been going to Tokies since the 80's when they were in Charter Square in Foster City. It was always a great time with great food. Tokies Downtown has upped their game with a great bar and bartender! Same really good food but now there's a bar where you can sit and enjoy drinks and your meal. Def

FRESH and delicious sushi. I am very particular about the quality of fish I am served while eating sushi and this place has been consistently good. The cherry on top is the amazing family that runs the restaurant. They are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

The rolls are average. (Vin's special and Jeffrey tasted ok) the chawanmushi is a little watery but tasted delicious and was generous with ingredients!
