I want to give a 4.5 rating. The food is good, but there are some minor suggestions. For instance, the steak way way you rare. Perhaps next time, ask how the patrons like it. But nothing will stop us from coming back. Service is awesome. Friendly, responsive, and you don't need to waive anyone down!

Some of the best Asian fusion I’ve ever had. The wings were incredibly juicy. I was very impressed with the sauces they had. The rib-eye is full of flavor. The garlic noodles are awesome!

It was a very good fusion place. The wonton was way better than I thought. Def give that a try. The fried shrimp is really good and they use a good amount of spice which I like. Pear salad was clean and fresh. Also lychee lemonade was unlimited refill and we took it to go. Never had that happen before. Overall, is worth the wait. Would come back again to try more dishes

Taste :4.6/5 Environment: 4.2/5 Service:4.2/5 I'm so glad we did! I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. One dish that really stood out was the saltado shaken fries, which we decided to change to noodles. The portion size was very generous, and the chewy texture of the noodles was spot on. The flavor was also amazing - I would describe it as a savory explosion in my mouth! Overall, I highly recommend The Vox Kitchen for anyone looking for delicious and unique dishes. They are always busy but it’s worthy for the waiting .

Great culinary experience, a splendid mix of cuisine and culture especially with seafood and the use of spices. The Fried Rice was fluffy and teeming with shrimp, scallops, fish, squid and eggs. We also enjoyed the flavors of the Ceviche, Garlic Noodle with Prawns and Filet Mignon Lomo Saltado Steak Fries. All delish! Although the dip is incredibly delicious, it was served with the three viands that we had. Would have been more fun if a separate dip comes with each separate order and not use the same dip for both the seafood and the steak. All good though.

I went there without expectations, but there were too many people. There was a wait, but I was able to get a seat quickly, and the food came out quickly, and the food was very delicious. There were a lot of customers and it was busy, but the servers were friendly, and I ate at an outdoor table, and the atmosphere was good. The food was really delicious, so I want to go again.

So here is the 4-11. It’s an amazing restaurant with delicious food and… dare I say…the most attentive service. It was wonderful. Truly wonderful. We got shrimp garlic noodles. We got steak fried rice. We got fried chicken. We got shaken fries with salmon belly. Then we got an extra order of the chicken to take home. I’m pretty sure everybody already knows how delicious and great this place is. Wanna know sumpt’n else? They have other food related businesses that are also top rated food places. Everyone is so nice and friendly that I was unprepared for it. Truly. You could just love this place 💕😍💕for food AND exemplary customer service. And it was ALL staff too! Here is and extra note.. go to yelp and do a reservation. Wait times can take a bit. Ours said up to an hour and it was absolutely much shorter. Thankfully people do not dilly dally at the tables. Bravo, VOX…. Bravo! 👍🏼😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This was the second time we’ve been to the Vox kitchen. I love that it has plenty of outdoor seating and easy to bring my dog there. The service has been good and food came super fast. Out of all 3 below I highly recommend the spicy wontons. House Congee with galbi- lots of meat on the bone, love the egg yolk. Once everything mixed together it was slightly on the saltier side. Saltado shaken fries with filet mignon- slightly chewy meat with medium done. Overall was tasty with fries, rice and Aji sauce. I have mixed feelings about it with fries being soggy this way. Spicy shrimp wontons- came with 8 wontons, great tasting sauce mixed in and not super spicy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vox Kitchen, a trendy Asian/Peruvian fusion restaurant in Fountain Valley. I was immediately impressed by the modern and stylish interior, which features exposed brick walls, hanging Edison bulbs, and a sleek bar area. The service was pretty good overall. I decided to try the Saltado Shaken Fries, which are made with fresh-cut French fries which were perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful and well-balanced. The protein I got was the filet mignon for my Saltado and let me tell ya, that chef in the back isn't playing around. That steak was tender and cooked to temperature. We also had the Chicken Mushroom Wontons and I've been having dreams of those little juicy things since then. I would definitely recommend Vox Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious and stylish dining experience. The food is high-quality and the service is excellent. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu! Take your momma, wifey/main squeeze, friends or the whole familia! Good food and good times for sure.

I flew in to SoCal for work and my first time coming here. My friend recommended me this location aka “seattlefoodieadventure” on Instagram/social. I ordered the House Garlic Noodles with medium rare rib-eye steak plus the mango dragonfruit iced tea. The steak was grilled perfectly, the noodles was seasoned, the green sauce was fire and the drink was refreshing. Overall, satisfied with what I ordered! I highly recommend this location if you’re visiting around the area. From what I seen, it does get busy so try book a party in advance!

Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 4/5 Stroller friendly: 0/5 The Vox kitchen has been on "to eat" list for a while now. They didn't disappoint! All the hype about the food is valid. We reserved a table for about 16 people and were squeezed into the patio section. When I say squeezed, I mean, really squeezed. There were so many items ordered that night it became a blur, but here are a couple of the most memorable. Drinks: pandan colada ($13) and Thai tea w/ sea salt foam ($6) Dishes: the pear salad appetizer ($18) and filet mignon saltado ($21). Service is super fast, efficient and very pleasant. The ambiance is very modern, but fairly loud I had trouble having a conversation with people adjacent to me. Also, if you're thinking about bringing a family member in a stroller. Forget about it. There ain't no room for that. I would def come back to try other items on the menu.

My family and I visited the Vox Kitchen recently and I was very impressed by their food and service. They are opening a space next door for business while remodeling the old space, which shows how popular they are. The new space has a bigger kitchen and a cozy dining area. The food was amazing, with fresh ingredients and creative flavors. I ordered the garlic noodles with grilled shrimp, which came with a green sauce on the side. The noodles were thick and chewy, the shrimp were juicy and tender, and the sauce was tangy and spicy. It was a perfect combination of textures and tastes. The portion was generous and I was full after finishing it. My family ordered the Saltado shaken fries house special, which was a Vox Kitchen signature dish of french fries, grilled ribeye steak, white rice, and sliced tomatoes. The fries were crispy and seasoned with herbs, the steak was tender and flavorful, the rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the tomatoes added some freshness. The dish also came with a green sauce that tasted like a chimichurri or a chermoula sauce, which added some zing and brightness to the dish. It was a hearty and satisfying meal that we all enjoyed. We also ordered the spicy shrimp wontons, which were Chinese-inspired dumplings filled with shrimp, water chestnuts, soy sauce, spring onions, and coriander. The wontons were plump and juicy, and the spicy Sichuan sauce was savory and fiery. The dish also came with some chopped peanuts and cilantro for some crunch and freshness. It was a mouthwatering appetizer that we all loved. We also ordered the bone-in short rib soup, which was Korean-inspired soup made with beef ribs, potatoes, enoki mushrooms, glass noodles, a slow poached egg, and green onions in a clear but flavorful broth. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the potatoes were soft and creamy, the mushrooms were delicate and earthy, the noodles were slippery and smooth, and the egg was runny and rich. The broth was light but hearty, with a hint of sweetness from the ribs. It was a warm and comforting meal that we all enjoyed. The drinks were also good and some of them came with free refills. We tried the lychee lemonade, which was a refreshing blend of lemon juice, lychee juice, sugar, and water. It was sweet and sour, with a floral note from the lychees. It came in a tall glass with ice cubes and a slice of lemon as a garnish, which made it look very appealing. We also tried the mango dragonfruit iced tea, which was a tropical blend of black tea, mango puree, dragonfruit puree, sugar, and water. It was fruity and refreshing, with a vibrant color from the dragonfruit. It came in a tall glass with ice cubes and a sprig of mint as a garnish, which made it look very appealing. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff were helpful and courteous, and they checked on us frequently. I would definitely recommend the Vox Kitchen to anyone who loves Asian fusion cuisine. They have a variety of dishes to suit different preferences, from noodles and rice to salads and wings. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. It's a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

tl;dr As advertised, it's great Asian comfort food but the dishes are not quite elevated as it would seem. It's verging on the overhyped side but for now, it's still worth the try. Tip: - The portions are A LOT bigger than what the digital menu shows so don't over order. - Check the Yelp waitlist before you get there - Neat trick: If you have NFC on, unlock your phone and tap it on the white QR code looking thing, the menu will pop up - The food will come out in MINUTES so be prepared to eat! - Parking will be tough because it's a very busy corner so just be prepared to park a little farther - There's outdoor seating too if you don't wanna wait so bring a jacket if ur down Salad: Get It's a delightfully fresh and clean salad. The nuts provide great texture and a good amount of sweetness. Don't forget to get the pear and goat cheese underneath as well. Rib Eye Fried Rice: Get Simply comforting as it should be, it's quite heavy and salty. Steak was a little overcooked as we said medium rare but it didn't distract too much. The green sauce that comes with the rice and noods was quite spicy but adds a nice bite to the meal. Salmon Garlic Noods: Get Again, just another comforting dish with greasy, oily noodles it's very satisfying. Salmon was quite overcooked but I supposed it's expected as all these items are probably mass produced quickly Service: Meh Our server was not really present most of the meal as this entire restaurant is high volume. After finishing our meal we just waited there for probably almost 30 minutes before finally getting our check Food: 7/10 Service: 4/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 7/10
