I grew up eating Bird Dog BBQ in Fountain, CO. It’s always so good! We were so excited to book them for our wedding! All of their sauces are gluten free which was incredibly helpful in accommodating our guests who have gluten allergies. We got the pulled pork, biscuit, and smoked turkey with potato salad, baked beans, and Mac & cheese. Our guests really enjoyed the food as well! I worked primarily with the director of catering, Jeremy, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole process a breeze! Not to mention how affordable it was for our wedding of 80 people. We would absolutely recommend booking them for your wedding or any event! Thank you Jeremy and Bird Dog BBQ!
This food is so good. They have a great menu. It’s very extensive. I don’t think this place is very vegan friendly. But the sides are on point. I love how they make them fresh most of the time. The wait is worth it and the employees here are amazing as well.
We were trying to get to another restaurant and missed our turn. So glad we did, Bird Dog had excellent BBQ! Photo is Turkey sandwich with mild wasabi bbq sauce. Huge portion of tasty fried okra. Best bbq beans I've had in a very long time :)
Excellent BBQ! Food delicious, generous servings, good price and daily specials, no extra charge for sauces, onions, etc. Servers and preparers friendly, efficient and informative!! Cannot wait to return. I will watch for discount coupons online.
If I could give more stars, I would! This is the first time I have eaten here and I'm glad I did! I got off work late and needed dinner. I noticed they closed at 9 so I tried to get there as soon as I could. Got to the restaurant at 8:30 thinking there weren't going to be many options but was very wrong. The lady behind the counter was very nice and said she could make whatever I wanted. And she did. She never once complained about how late it was or about not knowing what I wanted right away. The whole experience was great! A guy came from the back to ring me up and he was very nice as well. I will definitely be back! Thank you!
Their food was great as always,but their macaroni was kind of bland. Figured that was just due to lack of seasoning before serving, which makes sense. A little bit of salt made it a lot better lol. For real though I appreciate y'all being patient with customers that had never been there before. Explaining menu items and how the combos work made them happy. My friends will be coming by again.
WOW EAT HERE! So I LOVE pulled pork!!! It's my go to at anywhere that serves it. Unfortunately most places it's got so much fat big pieces I can't eat and waste 50% yet THIS ONE HERE OMG AMAZING!!! I got to eat every bite. I've lived here a year always wanted to try it but, husband didn't like no sides included. Well I am so happy we finally did. It was so so good and I'll be back. And the sauce with the X whatever that is was Amazing too slight after spice yet perfect.
If you have not eaten at or ordered from Bird Dog BBQ, do yourself a favor and stop reading this and go get some BeeBeeQ!!!
The food is beyond good. The Savory smoked brisket is simply mouth watering delicious. It might be considered to melt in your mouth. It is tender and subtle peppered flavored but the smoke pushes it over the top. The smoke turkey is equally amazing. BBQ sauce offerings are exactly as rhea should be.
Beans, Mac-N-cheese and salad balance out the meal perfectly. The baked beans are sweet and savory as well. Tender and cooked nearly perfectly. Mac is cheesy creamy goodness.
I'm not doing BirdDog justice with this review. It simply can't be missed. They also cater and surprisingly the food serves exactly as it does in the restaurant.

We moved here in March and this place was on my list to try. Was meeting with a coworker and the heat and wind convinced us we needed to do this indoors with cold beverages. I grabbed dinner for my family while we were there and I'm glad I did. It was great!
This is the second time my husband and I went here. The ribs, sausage, beans, potato salad and turkey have been the best we've tried so far. One of the best places we've tried since moving to Colorado. Staff is so friendly, very generous with their portions and their bbq sauce is so good. Will be coming back many times!

Picked up lunch on Memorial Day. Even after the 45 minute drive home it was delicious 😋 employees were friendly and didn't rush me while I looked at the menu.
So freaking good!!!! Just standing outside...it smells so amazing. I wish I was hungrier to eat more. Lol. They offer 10% military discount and 5% senior discount. I got the Doghouse with pulled pork.

We were recommended this place by a close friend and finally tried it after 2 years. 5 stars for great customer service, flavor of the food would be a 3.5. My husband ordered the doghouse. As they were piling up his open faced sandwich we decided to share because it was huge, took up pretty much half of the plate. He added coleslaw as his side and i ordered the fried okras as a side for myself. We ended up paying just over $20 including one fountain drink. I feel like that's pretty pricey because technically it was supposed to be for one person but since it was so huge, i guess it was worth it. They do have the bbq sauces at the table so that was nice not having to pay extra for it. As far as flavor goes, i would say meh. Im a fan of brisket but i tried their brisket alone and it tasted bland. I feel like good meat is something that is delicious on it's own, their brisket can't stand on its own two feet, sauce was needed. I would probably say this place is okay but i wouldn't come here if i want some real bbq.
