The Diner was amazing! Friendly and beautiful atmosphere with its wood carved bears and very generous portions of food it is the place to go when looking for a great place to eat and relax at. I would like to recommend the burgers, for they are hand crafted masterpieces that will leave you full and with a incredible taste lingering in your mouth. Bob's Big Bear Burger is a 2/3 lb beautifully ground hand made burger with a very smoking charbroiled taste topped with everything except the bacon and cheese, but you can add that for only $1.99! I would dare say I would continue to go there as often as possible nothing so far has been awful or unfriendly so please don't just take my word for this amazing diner go and see for yourself!
Good food always hot and ready on its point 👌🏼 Great service the waitresses are always kind. I would give you guys a 6 star if I could but unfortunately there isnt.
Excellent service my husband and I first time had a breakfast at black bear diner in Fremont and I really enjoyed the food no waiting the service is great!!
Am I wrong or at least 80% of employees are latinos ? Totally amazing seeing a clean place with a great and fast service . Food is delicious. It may take a while but u always leave the restaurant with a happy stomach !

Driving around Fremont looking for a good place to eat and all of a sudden I saw Black Bear Diner, I only knew of the one in Hayward, so I made a quick u-turn and we headed over. I love this place because it has allot of seating as you wait to be called. I' a vegetarian so I had the huevos rancheros and they were the bomb.come! My mom had the biscuit and gravy with bacon. We sat down, and it was crowded and we were called in less than five minutes! Everyone there was working so hard and so fast to make sure the customers were served and I so appreciate that. It was so scrumptious but I do have to go back for the pancakes! However, I know this place is knows for "MEAT" and I would really like to see more vegetarian dishes and maybe a homemade soup of the day like split pea, clam chowder and onion on specific days. I love crab grilled sandwiches but didn't look for them on the menu wince we were having breakfast, but if you don't have them, I hope you will soon! Thank you Black Bear Diner for a great experience
