I love this place! I was visiting family in Fresno and for a late lunch I searched on what was in the area. I saw that Sam's had great reviews so I decided to try it. I had the Ala Barese on a crunchy roll and it was so delicious. Prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with sun dried tomato on a crusty roll drizzled with olive oil. That, with a bottle of vanilla soda, hit the spot. I could only eat half the sandwich, I was full! The market is nice and neat with lots of selections of meats and cheeses. Parking is on the side of the building and there's seating on both outside and inside. I bought a bottle of Sam's pasta to take home. I will definitely come back to have their sandwiches when I'm in Fresno again.
I am mildly handicapped and the parking lot security guard helped me to my car, loaded ice into the ice chest and even helped me pack the ice chest for its 140 mile trip. He refused a tip when I offered him a tip. THAT is service! Thank you Sam's!

Been coming here ever since i moved to fresno and really love Sams. They have everything an Italian market should have, and their Deli and Sandwiches are fantastic. Best roll in Fresno point blank, and im a Philly boy where hoagie/cheeseteak is life and Sams holds up..really a great spot.
I love Sam's Deli it is a Jewel of Fresno and the Central Valley. Sam's and his terrific sandwiches and wonderful employees that are so helpful. This Deli has everything you would need to make your own pizzas sauces any kind of Italian food they have also they have some Armenian food Croatian food it's a really great place

Love the selection. Being a NJ transplant, this is the only authentic Italian deli/grocery around here. Makes me feel like home. More breads and jarred peppers would be even better!
