Mildly expensive but good. Contrary to some other reviews, the staff weren't rude to us but helpful and patient with all the kids in our group. They have a nice selection of non-dairy/vegan sorbets and one or two no-sugar-added ice cream flavors. Photo of menu at the time of my visit is attached. And yes, they are cash only.
Bunch of spoiled people with 1st world problems in the reviews. Tourist town prices but generous scoops and friendly service. Large selection and convenient location to have a walk around town or to sit down and enjoy Friday Harbors ambience.
It’s always a good idea to take cash when on vacation to places you haven’t been before. Especially considering ATM fees.
Slightly overpriced, but the ice cream and milkshakes were delicious. Decent black licorice ice cream is hard to find, and theirs is delicious. It has tons of food die in it though, and stained my teeth and lips for over 24 hours!!
Yummy ice cream in a fun little nook of a location. Knowledgeable and careful about dietary restrictions, with gluten-free cones and able to identify the GF flavors by memory.
I had a very pleasant experience. It was nice to be able to walk right up from the street and grab ice cream during a walk with my dog. I had a very warm welcome from the person working the counter. I recommend the butter pecan in a waffle cone!
Solid choice for close proximity to terminal. Lots of flavors. Was open later than anticipated which made our night. Not my favorite ice cream, but again was open when we wanted it.
Cash Only! If you get a single scoop in a cup, it's a generous size! Our favorite flavor is huckleberry cheesecake. But they have so many unique delicious flavors! And there's a nice area with a few benches nearby you can sit and enjoy the ice cream!
fantastic staff and great flavors! people complaining about price are a little crazy, keep in mink location and its also not that bad price. My favorite is the pop rocks ice cream ( sounds weird but you must try it)!
Lots of great flavors! Got our ice cream, then sat on the benches by the harbor. Wonderful treat while watching the ships go in and out.

Searching for a coffee place in cold, we found this. Around 150 ice cream variety and most of them are really good. I tried Licorice and it was damn good.
We tried lemon meringue pie, huckleberry, and pineapple coconut. The lemon meringue was awesome. Huckleberry was very good as well.
I've gone twice in the past 2 days (it's a bike tour and I'm a hard core ice cream nut). I think the customer service comments are the perfect storm of stressed ferry crowds and overwhelmed employees. I got the sense it is a two way street of both parties not being polite. Solution? Just go in the off hours. Be a good human and read the signs.
The ice cream is elaborate and the selection is clever. If they accepted credit cards that wonderful price would go up. While I have a flare for the high class cones and amazing scoops of Portland it was certainly a wonderful vacation treat. Definitely recommended.
