Great View. Took in 20 Seniors from a Sailing Tour on the Spike Africa. Many wanted some seafood after being on the water most of the day. Some needed an adult beverage or two also and the Crabhouse came through. I tried the captains plate, a little of everything, upon the recommendations of a local. He loves the fish, as it is lightly breaded. It was a Tuesday and my complaint is that the fryer oil needed to be changed out and filtered as the fish was very dark on the breading instead of a golden brown. The oysters were over done and the scallops were done right. The shrimp were okay. Most of my folks liked what they got, but we will try someplace else next time.
This place had the best meal of our 2 night trip. The cod tacos and fish and chips were delicious! They also had some good drinks and the best view on the upper deck to watch the float planes land, boats drive by and the ferry. If you need a spot to wait for the ferry, this is a great spot! I will definitely make sure I stop here on all future trips to Friday Harbor! There is also a cute shop and I bought some cute jewelry and pins.
Great food but weird service, or lack there of! We didn't see any signs or directions so just grabbed a couple seats at the bar facing the street. Amazing view!!
We sat for awhile and hubby finally went up to the bar to ask about menus and drinks. The guy said sure, here's some menu's, are you going to pay or open a tab! That was it!! We perused the menu, placed our order and sat back down. Pretty quickly somebody was yelling our name!! They delivered the food and drinks, each time yelling out our name as if for the first time!! Between drinks, soup, tacos, oysters and a Polish dog, that was 6 times!!
The food was amazing, all of it!! The smoked salmon chowder was thick and rich with just the right amount of salmon and clams. The fish and shrimp tacos both were grilled and nicely spicy, not over powering. The polish dog is huge! Now, those oysters though, they were phenomenal!! Grilled to perfection and the caper broth they add is genius!
I definitely highly recommend Friday's, especially for the chowder and oysters, and will come back for sure!
Great location and good food.
The staff was super friendly and helpful.
My only gripes would be the unpredictable schedule for being open at times and having to pay extra when using a credit card.
We got in a bit late and caught last call! We ordered dinner in a flash! The staff couldn't have been nicer! And the food was amazing! I had king salmon and I think it was the best I have ever had! My husband ordered the halibut and it was awesome as well! I Highly recommend this place if you're ever I Friday Harbor!
Great place for a quick lunch by the water. The fish and chips and calamari were really good. I like how each dish came with tartar sauce and the food tasted fresh. The Alaskan fish was juicy inside and had a nice citrus crispy outside
Such a delicious place for lunch or dinner! And with gorgeous views overlooking the harbor. Great service, great drinks, great food! We ordered their amazing fish and chips. As a local, always love when I have time to eat and relax here. Excellent!
It's a all in one food stop, surf and turf! Great staff and ideal especially waiting on your ferry. Tried their Alaskan halibut 6/10, but the Oyster grilled was delicious 😋... big juicy fatty oysters
Classic costal bar food. Killer views, amazing staff, great vibes!
View was AMAZING. Service super friendly and food delicious. I got the 1/3 sirloin burger and destroyed it. My partner got the grilled salmon and maybe got 1/4 lb worth, kinda a small serving for the price. The sauce was very vinegary and heavy on the dill but the coleslaw was good i used it as a dip with my fries :) If you sit on the mid-level try to avoid sitting over the grill on the level below lol otherwise amazing !
The service was great and quick, and the food was tasty. It was a rainy day and we were waiting for the ferry so it was a great place to have lunch before heading off the island
Great location to have a bite, enjoy the scenery, have a great sight at the ferry and the water. We had the cod tacos, veggie burger with fries and onion rings. All of them were yummy and reasonably priced.
This place has a beautiful view of the harbor! I went around 5:00 pm. It was peaceful and quiet. I ordered the pound of clams and mussels with a side of clam chowder. My boyfriend ordered the captains basket. Both were very good. The menu didn’t give any descriptions. Our meals ended up having a large amount of capers. I am not a fan, so if I had known they had that I’d ask for them to not put them on.
