Chicken fried steak was pretty darn good, the corn was amazing, definitely recommend you give it a shot, seriously doubt you'll be disappointed. Oh hey, my son had the Southern Fried and absolutely raved about it.

I saw some people on Facebook talking about this place. So hubby and I popped in there this morning for breakfast! Absolutely wonderful food, wonderful people, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Definitely will go back...already discussed catfish dinner! I especially loved how coffee pots were placed all over so you could help yourself!

Every city needs a great "mom and pop" cafe, and this is the one in Frisco! The food is great country cooking. The staff are friendly and the feel is reminiscent of small town, Texas cafes that are the heartbeat of their town. I love this place!!
BEST breakfast I've ever had anywhere! I was visiting & wished I could find a place like this in Florida!! Can't wait to go back when visiting again in a few months!

Hands down the best breakfast in Frisco. Everyone is nice and appreciative, so it is shown in the making of the food. It is also a great place to connect with the community, as they have big tables so you can sit with others.

Best breakfast in Frisco. My favorite breakfast place in Frisco - I'm here often. My favorite dishes are the banana pancakes, the steel cut oatmeal (you will not finish the huge bowl), the "baked" bacon (not greasy that way), the breakfast tacos, the Huevos Mexicana and the biscuits covered in chunky sausage gravy.
Also open for lunch - great daily specials always including fresh cake for dessert. I also like their "big salad". Also known for their fried chicken and catfish. Debbie is a great cafe manager - she knows most of her hundreds (if not thousands) of customers by name. Dennis and his family (the owners of this family business for 55 years) are super nice people.
(And open on Friday nights too. Closed all day Monday.)
Breakfast. Intially when I went with my family at 19.30m a.m. on Sunday felt a bit creepy out side the moment entered the cafe everything changed ..my family did enjoyed a great breakfast I still surveying the ambiance their service area prici9ng and their staff and concluded another good place with at its own touch to keep their customers on hold with their own reputation of being in their family business!!!!!

You wouldn't think so....but. You wouldn't think a restaurant connected (not separated like a BK or KFC or Subway) would be able to put out great food and to around 40-50 capacity at peak but they can at the Depot Cafe. We wife and I just moved to Frisco and my brother told me about this place connected to a gas station that had amazing breakfast and pretty good lunch/dinner. the place is on the same property as a gas station that has about 20 people standing on the corner of hte street trying to get manual labor work....all that aside the depot cafe uses the side of the gas station for a parking lot and once you're inside it feels like an old diner. the staff is extremely friendly, clean restrooms, and a seriously great breafast for a great price. so far i've had the pancakes, bacon egg and cheese sandwich, full 4 egg breakfast, chicken fried chicken & gravy, and a couple other things in my few trips up there and have yet to be let down. great little cakes made fresh daily too for dessert if you're a fat kid like me!
Lunch specials. Great place for lunch ...call to see what the lunch special is, it changes daily. even comes with a piece of cake! i particularly like the homestyle meatloaf. $6.99 great for people on a budget. highly recomended!
