What an absolutely cool fun concept this is! My niece and I came for her birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place for her since she is a gamer. We went on a Saturday and it didn't open till 12:00, we ended up going next door to get something to eat for quick snack cuz we were both ravenous but ended up filling up.
We came here to get some mimosas and a dessert.
First off, the interior build out of the restaurant is really well thought out! I loved everything that they did, really cool colorful bit murals and textured accent walls.
I was disappointed in the mimosas though. They have a pretty bottom of the barrel champagne that they put shots of syrup in. The first one was blackberry and it was really not good at all. The next one I got just champagne with the syrup on the side and tried to doctor it, but there was no dressing up that.
For dessert we had the banana pudding. It was pretty run-of-the-mill, I did not taste any bananas and the wafers were not softened at all.
We did play some games while we were sitting at the table and that was a lot of fun. I think more than anything, this place is where you would come for the experience.
I will come back to give it another try.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great place if your like gaming(both card and video). Food is what you would expect for a gamer place. Drinks are sweet, sweet, sweet, or at least mine was. It would have been better had our group not had 6 people instead of just 4 that could play on the game system. Great staff and upbeat atmosphere!
Wonderful staff, a little pricy, multiple games per system, I haven’t had to wait to be sat any time I’ve come here. Some drinks are named after Borderlands, fans will appreciate it. This looks like a great place for families. Also, friends who want to hit the bar and play smash bros on a big TV.
My friend and I got a ps4 console. We got the burgers and Mac n cheese balls. The Mac n cheese balls were good. French Fries were very average. The burger was good. The buns were crispy. The appeal of this place is the games, not the food. Death Squared and overcooked 2 we're fun coop games we enjoyed.
Really cool experience, good drinks, we had a good time there. But food was OK, hadouken beef was slightly under cooked (I'm assuming the default doneness is mid-rare, but the center was slightly rare) and a bit chewy, probably not worth $18 for 3 small pieces of meat.
This place was more than we hoped it would be. We went for our anniversary hoping to have some more fun than just eat fancy food, and was blown away by the food fair and cocktails. I got Brick's chicken and it's probably the best chicken I've ever had.
I think gamers would really like this place. There are setups to play different consoles, as well a emulators for retro games, with varying number of people. For my spouse and I, we were set up in a booth for two where we chose to play on the Switch. I don't know for sure, but I think you have to be certain which system you want to play - I don't think you can change systems unless you change tables.
I liked especially that it felt both kid-friendly and private enough for me and my spouse to chat without having to raise our voices or be interrupted. I'm already thinking about coming back with my 5-year-old, she would love this place.
Excellent food and drinks, great service, we had a blast and have no complaints.
Want a place to enjoy food, cocktails and play games? Here is your spot. A little gem in the wall located in Frisco, Texas. You can enjoy lunch or dinner with drinks / cocktails while playing games on PS4, Nintendo Swutch, Nintendo, XBIX and more. Great Customer Service and the prices are actually decent. There is a connecting Cafe where you can go during the day for coffee, tea and pastries while choosing board games to enjoy with family and friends. I will definitely come back again as the noise level is also very low. ENJOY!!!
