I was beyond impressed with this establishment. I assumed Tavern West would be another "touristy mountain town restaurant with underwhelming cuisine at exuberant pricing". Au contraire! The food was creative, flavorful and very well presented. The ambiance was on point regarding the decor, lighting and mountain views. Our server Scot (not sure if he spells it with one or two t's) was knowledgeable, amiable and had perfect timing. The rest of the staff did not hesitate to provide impeccable service without stifling our conversations over our delicious dinner. We will definitely return!

Went to Tavern West for the first time last night and it was so good, that we came back for an encore tonight. The outside patio is a perfect setting of mountains, fireplace and also dog friendly!
The food ingredients here are fresh and very high quality. The menu changes daily. They have small plates and full sized entrees. The food is professionally crafted awith much attention to detail. The smoked items are excellent as the place has its own smoker fired up with fruit woods of apple, cherry and pecan. The speciality cocktails and martinis and beautifully crafted and generous in quantity. They are also 1/2 price at Happy Hour. The atmosphere inside has a western modern vibe. Love this new addition to Frisco!
Tavern West is a delightful addition to the Frisco dining scene. Excellent presentation of great food. Double pork chop is generous and delicious. Tater tot appetizer is a large portion that can be shared. Beet and pear salad was awesome. Other dishes we tried were very good also. Dining area is nicely appointed and partially separated from the bar area by a wall. A little noisy but we were able to carry on a conversation. Definitely worth a visit.
Stopped by on our way home from skiing Vail and what a treat! Tried the bone marrow (delish!!) Along with other apps. Had a drink with vodka and beet juice and that was equally fabulous! Our server was great and the atmosphere just right. We'll definitely be back!
If you like lamb, the burger is one of the best I have ever had! Nice wines and beer selections. Friendly staff!

The wild mushroom risotto was fantastic...I added rotisserie chicken for an additional 6 bucks and it was well worth it...great place and atmosphere.

The best restaurant in Frisco. My favorite is their unique take on the Cobb salad. They always have nightly specials and creative cocktails. Sit on the patio if the weather allows for amazing views.
I visit Tavern West frequently. I love the tots, the Reuben sandwich, and really interesting fare Tavern West offers that is not found anywhere else in the county. The Kato's and their team have done an outstanding job creating a unique dining experience.

Love the atmosphere and the decor! The strip steak may be pricey, but totally worth it!!! Best steak I have had in Colrado since moving from Chicago three years ago! We also love the roast chicken, the chop salad, the tater tots and the kalettes!! Give Tavern West a try and you will go back again and again!

The food was amazing ! I ordered the wood grilled salmon and my husband the elk bison Bolognese pasta and both dishes were unbelievably delicious. Drinks were awesome and good prices. The happy hour from 4-6pm was a plus for sure (we didn’t know). Our waitress was the best.
Great cocktails and entrees! Our server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is really nice and low-key. Highly recommend trying this out!
Tavern West is my favorite restaurant in Summit County. We stopped by several times during our trip because it was so great. We all loved the truffle tots, Kobe burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I also really enjoyed the salmon. I don’t think you can go wrong on their menu because everything is excellent.
I really love this place. Their happy hour menu is really fun and full of great foods, and their truffle tater tots are absolutely delicious. In addition all her weight staff has been nothing but smiling friendly and enjoyable. It’s a little out-of-the-way from downtown where I live, however it is worth the walk and I’m absolutely thrilled each time I eat here.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted and felt like we were the only ones there. Expresso martini was fantastic. Old fashion delicious. Beer cheese soup was an a+. Jamie was the best and friendliest waitresses!!
This is the best restaurant in Frisco. Hands down. Feels like big city fare in the mountains.

Amazing place, there wasn't an item which we got that we didn't like. The service was also exceptional with our sever Ian going above and beyond with making sure we were taken care of, as well as running us down in the parking lot with a left behind item.
Absolutely would recommend this place for anyone spending an evening here.
Excellent service,friendly owner, and delicious food. We had the carrot appetizer and beet salad for starters and the vegan rigatoni was so good. All of the dishes are prepared well and the pasta sauce was homemade.
