The food has excellent portions. I LOVE the burritos, both bean and cheese and breakfast. Not cheap but you absolutely get what you pay for here. The drive thru can be quite slow. It can take 15 minutes EASY.
They aren’t not very quick and today was my first not so good experience. I order a bean and cheese burrito. That’s it. $7 +tax, no big deal. Took about 6-7 minutes (a full song and a half) BEFORE I got to pay at the window. I paid at 1:13pm and I never even got acknowledged after that until I asked what is going on at 1:19. It was not until 1:21 until they handed my burrito to me. They were about to give me a big bag of food and I said “No, All I had was a bean and cheese burrito.” Then they had it. I don’t know what happened.
Still a great place for food.
ALSO, sign says drive-thru only. You can walk inside and order and take it to go.
Hidden gem… don’t tell anyone 🤫 no wait, awesome customer service, amazing breakfast burritos — which are HUGE…. Easy access on / off the freeway!!!
Best breakfast burrito I've had in OC so far. The bacon breakfast burrito with green pork chille salsa really hits the spot when you have a large appetite. All-day breakfast is also a major plus. Drive thru moves pretty fast and food was very hot when received. Great spot!
Always a pleasure to visit one the many Pepe's locations in Southern California. I especially love the Breakfast burritos. Definitely worth the drive when ever I get a chance. This location has very generous portions of food and service was speedy with a smile. Keep up the good work.
Typically Pepe’s never fails me... but I visited on a Friday after where they were particularly busy 😢 hands down, best flour tortilla and big portions. But the steak was a bit on the chewy side and the cheese itself wasn’t melted all the way through. Other than that, it’s delicious and quick! Enjoy!
Lol I love it. It's the restaurant for miracles. I guess I should keep it to myself. I don't know what influences such precious moments at Pepe's, but because of that, I appreciate it. No matter what the outcome is anymore. XD, Thank you!
This Pepe's dining room had been closed for a long time. Finally got to go back and sit inside. Food was good as always and burritos are very large. Happy that I can go and sit inside and eat again.
The bathroom was constantly in use because the men’s room was out of order. The restaurant inside is kept so cold that my wife and son were shivering with sweaters on. I’m fat and usually hot and it was so cold I was uncomfortable. It felt like 55 degrees and everywhere you go in there a vent is blowing on you. I’m not sure why they keep it so cold? Everyone in there was obviously uncomfortable. Food was decent.
The food here is awesome. Been visiting Pepe's for years. The rice is absolutely the best rice I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Only issue was the curmudgeon wino on the patio.
Pepe's has the BEST breakfast burritos, worth driving to rather than going somewhere for convenience. Everything else is classicly delicious with quality ingredients too. Line typically goes by super quick.
Service was excellent. We ordered 2 taquito dinners and a burrito. All the food was delicious and we will definitely go back.
The breakfast burritos 🌯 here are gigantic. I need to weigh the burritos. It's more like a super burrito. And the flavor is bomb 💣 . Definitely coming back again. And the Chile verde nachos are to die for.
