The place is small and cozy. The menu is varied and you are sure to find something you like. From the traditional Oaxaqueño food to the more Americanized.
The server was attentive but looked like she would rather be somewhere else. We arrived around 5:30 just before the dinner rush.

This place is a little hidden in a very small plaza. You will need slow down a lot to find this place. The place is clean and very Ma&Pa. I can see many locals coming in & out. The Enchiladas Campesinas were slathered in their mild, flavorful tomatillo sauce. Being raised in SoCali and used to our style of food, these flavors were surprising. Authentic Oaxacan food, we live in Bakersfield Ca and when we are near, we do our best to eat in this restaurant. Price is reasonable, wait time depends on the day and time, weekends are usually busy.

Went here for their mole, and it was bomb!! Only thing was I got enchiladas and the mole taste different then the side order of mole. I liked the side order of mole better. The chicken also needed more seasoning and their rice. Over all meh, hit the spot. And their atole of champurado was a winner f
