Good food! Warning: shrimp appetizer, priced at a hefty 19$, contains only 3 shrimp. Wonderful meal, laid back atmosphere but portions can b small for the price. Blackened scallops highly recommend. Walleye is good. Of course the steaks are awesome. Good mixed drinks.

Excellent food and service. Our server was perfectly attentive. Three of us had Prix fixe for restaurant week and one prime NY strip. Steaks served as ordered and the desserts 🍨were very tasty.

This restaurant is awesome!! Service was great! The food was fantastic! Prices are high, but also expected when fine dining.

I went here with friends a few weeks ago. They pull out all the stops to make you feel welcomed and provide you with a great experience. From appetizers to main course to desert, all was delicious. My steak was a bit overcooked and undersized compared to the same dish that a friend ordered but it was still tender and flavorful. I will give it another shot!

1st time at the barn, we both ate off the Pre Fixe menu. There was a good selection. The wife had twin filets and I had the braised short rib. We both had the carrot cake for dessert. Highs: all of the vegetables and meats are cooked and seasoned perfectly. Low: the carrot cake is just very sweet, wish it had some texture of shredded carrot and fruit pieces...also, we sat near the back door which was opened repeatedly and sometimes stayed open, customers would get up and run over to close it. We were very cold. The service was excellent, the server was very personable and the ambiance is very nice. Having just got pregnant with our first child, the server gave us dessert on the house and recommended an awesome, fresh fruit puree mocktail for my wife. We look forward to a repeat visit.

The staff here did an excellent job taking care of my wife and I. Our waitress was at the table in no time to get our order and checked in with updates on our food a few times prior to its arrival. I ordered the twin filets and the manager brought them out and stayed there while I cut into them to ensure they were cooked properly. His customer service was amazing even with the bourbon lounge being busy. All of the food we ordered was excellent. Would recommend this establishment.

Service and food was wonderful. Pricey, for sure. I had crab stuffed shrimp with a wilted spinach side dish for $32. Outstanding flavors. As they specialize in bourbons, I had to try one. Makers Mark 56 was pretty good, but I was glad I was treated to that. Their calamari appetizer was a sharable size and the very best I have ever had; it melted in my mouth. It came with 2 sauces and with deep fried pinwheels of lemon slices--striking and whimsical. The creme brulee that a friend ordered for her birthday was disappointing: the crispy top had a distinctive burnt taste with a runny pudding on the bottom. Several of us agreed to pass on that dessert.
