Went for breakfast, the place smells like an old town cafe. No receptionist, just a few customers. We ordered and it took a while for the food to come. Service is very slow. The food was ok, chicken kind of dry and the omelet was really good. Of course pancakes outstanding. I'm not sure if I'll come back though.

My family and I really enjoy coming here to eat it is such a great environment and overall the food is delicious and the service is exquisite. The server was extremely nice and very observant if we needed anything I would recommend to anyone. I’ve never had a problem in this restaurant and o don’t think I ever will.
We had a party of six, and we were seated right away. Our server, Cristofe, greeted us immediately and took our drink order. The ice tea was very flavorful, which is always a plus for me. The kids enjoyed the activity sets. It took a while to get our food, but that's to be expected on a busy Saturday morning. I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes. Everyone liked the crepes, waffles, hash browns, French toast, and bacon that they ordered. Cristofe was attentive and helpful. Too bad we live too far away to go every week!
My comfort food place. Best service ever. Good, familiar American food. And breakfast all day long!
This IHop is open 24/h, but that doesn't mean the quality suffers. They are pretty consistent. I enjoyed my breakfast this morning.

Pretty busy on a saturday morning, but very friendly waitress. We really liked the food.
Saturday morning breakfast trying out the new king Hawaiin French toast. First the service was very good the waiter came by several times to check on us, and was quick to take orders. The food was tasty however I expected more than two rolls, otherwise they were very good. I strongly recommend giving them a try before they are gone.

There’s only one picture in this review because I had no intention of writing one here. I mean, it’s an IHOP. Everyone has eaten at IHOP before. The reason I changed my mind is because this was the best IHOP experience I’ve had in years. Lots of years. I’ve eaten at IHOPs all over the country for more than 30 years and this one stands out as excellent. We ate here on a very busy Sunday morning and there was a 20 minute wait. They take your name a number and send you a text when you table is ready. And the system worked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and well groomed and dressed smartly and greeted us with smiles. The booth was clean, the menu was clean, the salt and pepper shakers were clean, the syrup containers were clean, the restaurant was clean. The service was 100% accurate with special orders and very fast. The food arrived well presented and hot and tasted like it was supposed to. I had the Sampler Breakfast with coffee. It all tasted great as you can tell from the picture. Marie, our server, was friendly and efficient. The manager, John was helping his staff with a kind word and smile the whole time. THIS is what breakfast out should be. Thank you team IHOP #2009 in Gainesville, VA! You guys and gals are AWESOME!
I like the senior $8 menu choices for breakfast or their BLT and fries. Decent food and special pricing options are nice for those on a tight budget.
