Parking was normal for a lunch crowd on Archer Road, found a spot on the second row. We were sat shortly after entering the restaurant. Great atmosphere, wait staff was very attentive, had the Redneck Egg rolls, salad bar and a sweet tea. Our waitress brought out our salad plates almost immediately after ordering. Tea stayed refilled during our entire meal and we got a full sized tea to go (no charge). Salad bar had multiple options besides just the normal salad, such as broccoli salad, chicken salad, Cole slaw, fresh fruit and a multitude of pasta salads. Everything on the bar was well stocked and replenish during our stay. Redneck egg rolls we cooked to perfection and the dipping sauce is to die for! We’ve only been a few times, but it’s well worth the trip for a good meal & good service at a great price. We will return for sure.

We just ate at Sonny's for the first time in along time. The last few times we weren't all that impressed with the waitstaff or the food. However, this time, not only is my enjoyment of the restaurant renewed, but my faith in humanity as well. We were attended to by a young man named Justin H. He was wonderfully attentive, but not overly so. He was knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. If this fine gentleman is an example of young people, I have faith in where our country may end up. Thank you Justin H. (The food was great tonight too. )
Seated immediately....had the pulled pork lunch. Price was great and all food on my plate was so good. No complaints. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Will return when passing through florida again!
We eat at Sonny's on Archer Road every Saturday night and have for at least the last 10 years we love Sonny's we love the entire wait staff especially Carrie , Justin, Taylor, and Mel my wife is heartbroken that you are discontinuing your raspberry lemonade never-the-less that won't stop us from enjoying our Sonny's every Saturday night she will just have to bring her own when we come to eat, keep cooking it up

Excellent service...best food of any Sonnys I've ever eaten at...beautiful decor...and they gave us a Military Discount without ever having to show an I.D...just on our word!! My husband loved that!!!
We were in Gainesville for the day and came in for lunch. It has been a while since we've eaten at a Sonny's after a few bad experiences at different locations. Totally impressed with the food and the service. Portions were larger than expected and extremely fresh and hot!! The manager was not only running food for his servers but was checking on tables as well. This location is GREAT!!

Hayley was a wonderful server, the food was delicious, and we love the new look of the restaurant (We haven't lived near a Sonny's in over 10 years).
First time to visit this place and I had a great experience!!! I love everything on my plate. I got 3 meat combo for 13.99 (if I am not mistaken), that includes 3 meats of your choice (of course), 2 sidekicks, a bread. In addition to that, the service from the crew was great. The area was clean but it was too cold in my opinion during our visit. I will definitely return back in the future and it is now one of my favourite restaurant on my list. I love it!!
I had the best experience at this Sonny’s. The restaurant was so clean and my food was served in a timely manner and was exactly how i ordered it. The manager Roxanne came around and checked on us. She was such a joy to speak with and her customer service skills were above and beyond. I will be visiting very soon and hope to be greeted by the lovely staff and enjoy the best Sonny’s can offer from this location. Thanks for the outstanding service.

Was recently at the Sonny's on Archer road and let me tell you something here partner, not only was the food jaw dropping fall of the bone fantastic, the service was phenomenal!!! Our server Adrianna had our food and drinks out in a timely fashion and was well respectable to our family! Made our kids laugh, and just felt as if she was part of the family. I always enjoy my visit to Sonny's. The atmosphere is great the staff are very helpful. The food is properly prepared hot and plentiful and taste good. I had all you can eat chicken with macaroni and cheese and barbecue baked beans. The service is great. I usually sit at the bar and eat. I would always list Sonny's as a go-to restaurant for anybody that asks
