i would like to tell everyone that Wahoo seafood and grill in Valdasta Georgia is a great place to have fun and enjoy a good meal i stopped there on my way to michigan on February 8 th 2018
We went with a group of 10 people for a birthday party on Monday night. The service was great! The food was delicious. The mud bug fries, shrimp and grits, and boom boom shrimp were all yummy. We loved the atmosphere. Outside seating area was beautiful at night. Highly recommend!!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The portions for the boil (pictures below) is good for the price. I’ve been told the fried platter is even a better deal. The light seasoning bland was perfect. The garlic butter ties everything together as well. Easy parking and access. Nice decor. The cocktails were somewhat pricy but still good. Highly recommend
Wow, where to start... Probably the best crab cakes I've ever had, my parmesan and crab crusted Mahi was also probably one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. The restaurant was busy inside, 45 minute wait, so we sat outside even though it was cold. They have patio heaters, so this was no big deal. It did take a bit for the wait staff to realize we were outside, I assume because it was cold they didn't think anyone would sit out there. Well worth the wait. I've been here three times now, and haven't been disappointed yet. Sometimes they have a band, this time they didn't, but I believe they advertise when they do. I probably don't have to say this, but I will definitely be back.
We arrived before the restaurant became busy (around 5:45). The Hostess sat us immediately but then it took over 15 minutes for our server to show up to acknowledge us and to get our drink order.
We ordered both appetizer and dinner while we had our server Tyler (who turned out to be a fantastic server) and enjoyed each others company
The food came out and much to our surprise everything was really good, really tasty.
If you haven't eaten here and you find yourself nearby give it a try....
Welp nothing much to say really... When the Mr. Says this is our new spot. You better believe it was A1 on point! From the Customer Service down to the Food's quality and quantity.
First Time going and we've stared this place in the face many times stopping for gas on the way to Orlando and Miami. Never thinking anything of it because to me it always looked closed and abandoned... but it is far from that.
It was a beautiful day! So we sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and natural view around. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful with her customer service! I wish I could remember her name I just remembered her saying she was also the bartender on that day. Even another party's waitress was very helpful by stopping to answer a few questions for us and that's very rare nowadays at restaurants.
Food was very good and plentiful! My husband couldn't even eat all of his and that's very rare for him. I ordered some appetizers to go. I'm not big on cold food but those fried green tomatoes were Awesome at a cold state. So I can only imagine NEXT TIME! I STOP IN how they will tasted Hot & Fresh! Because WE WILL DEFINITELY BE STOPPING BACK BY AGAIN SOON! 🤩🔥🤩🔥🤩🔥🤩🔥🤩🔥
Waitress was absolutely amazing. I probably should have slowed down on the seafood boil but here I am full and a little bit heavier ngl. If your thinking about going you should definitely try the shrimp tacos!!! 😉
Our waitress was more than acceptable. She was amazing with my son and family. The lobster was awesome and the fish sandwich was delicious
We arrived before 4:00 for the all-u-can eat Flounder on Wednesdays. The service was a little slow, but worth the wait. The Flounder was amazing! Cooked perfectly, and the first serving was enough to fill you up without a reorder. I'll definitely be going back to sample the rest of their menu!
Go check them out and bring your appetite!
