We ate here on 12/23/21 as part of a pre-Christmas family dinner. Now, we have eaten at this particular location probably over 100 times over the years and have had more great experiences than we can count however, this was one of our best.
We had Darius as our server. He was friendly and charismatic. He stayed on top of our every want and need despite being short-handed. He never stopped hustling as he served us and the tables around us. He always had a smile and never made us feel like a bother. Our food was hot and delicious as it almost always is. Manager Joe stopped by our table to check on us and we ended up asking him to come back just so we could let him know what an exceptional employee he has.
In today's current state, finding above and beyond type of service is becoming more difficult to find so, it was absolutely refreshing to have such an exemplary meal. We have always loved this location and its staff and we will continue to come back time and again because of experiences like these. Thank you Darius, Joe, and Red Lobster for still making this one of our top places to eat. We see you and appreciate all your hard work!!
My husband and I had a very good experience. We had a small booth; only had to wait about 5 minutes (on a Saturday night, no less), which was terrific, because we were cold and exhausted, from the Gator Nationals.
Our server, Eric, was polite and very attentive, and gave excellent service. Even the manager introduced himself, and asked if everything was to our liking, which it certainly was. The food was hot and delicious; we ordered the fish and chips, I forgot to ask for malt vinegar, but the fish was so perfect, it wasn't necessary. The server was so gracious, thanking us for being at this Red Lobster, as did the manager and the hostess.
This visit to Red Lobster was perfect.
We will definitely return, next time we're in Gainesville. Thank Y'all so SO MUCH!
My first time at Lobster Fest!! Loved it. Ian is the best waiter everrrrrr!!!
We had an enjoyable meal. We started out with stuffed mushrooms and artichoke dip. Strawberry daiquiri and frozen peach martini. They served us up right perfectly cooking steak and scallops, coconut shrimp and fried fish.
I haven't been to Red lobster in a while, due to the portion to price ratio. That being said, I went recently and it was way better this time. My wife and I went to celebrate an occasion and it was fantastic. The service was great as well as the the food. I think the price is still a little high but I felt good with the bill this time around. Portions were better and like I said, service was fantastic.
It started good and ended good, but the in between was a little off. Ordered the New England clam chowder and received it at room temperature. I am not one to fuss, but this was not good. The waitress exchanged it with a hot version and the rest was great. The biscuits they serve as you wait were delicious. Overall, it was a 4/5.
Our fish was overcooked but the manager was very sincere and had our food remade . Was a pleasant experience .Photo below was starters
