Caribbean Spice Restaurant - Gainesville - Photo album

I haven't been to many Caribbean restaurants in Gainesville, nor do I think there are many in the first place, but their food is pretty good! I'd definitely come back for more jerk chicken and coco-bread loaves. And I'm looking forward to trying the famous vegetable patties and oxtail next time. Gen
Food needs work. The best thing on the menu is the Jamaican Kola's. The cook cut corners in making the food. There's nothing Jamaican about the food at all other than the one who cooks it. Do better.

The place was ten times better before it moved!! Prices Are different from menu. Goat was super chewy. Patties are still excellent.
The worse jamaican food I've ever tasted and I'm jamaican..I was visiting from out of town and decide to support my yawdies..big mistake I ordered the fish it was soaked with vinegar all the way to the rice..omg why why..the overkill the fish and the rice got killed too and we know fish isn't cheap

This is a one off, family owned restaurant with a limited specialty menu. This is a good thing because quality, efficiency and pric
My friend recommended that I try Caribbean Spice. I have to say it is Phenomenal! The Jerk Chicken was just right with the cabbage, rice and beans. Interior design was clean and cozy. Staff was super friendly and owner too.
New location. Same owner. Expanded menu. Delicious. First time I ever had goat was at the university ave location back in the late 80s. Every bit as good today as it was back then.
