Took my parents here for the first time and both they and I loved the place. Great food, great staff and beautiful setting. I would recommend this place! Everything we ate was great, from the Thai chicken tacos, to the Waldorf salad to a burger and apple crisper dessert! Yum!
I had dinner with my family on Friday night at Not Your Average Joe's. Seven at our table. The food was delicious..as always. Tthe server made the experience even better. She was attentive to food allergies of two members of our party. The gluten free menu is one of the best. I split a meal with my son, and when the food came to the table it was already on two plates. It was so nice to have it already done, instead of having to ask. I will definitely go back again...soon!
We celebrated my SILās surprise birthday, there were 18 of us and we had the patio to ourselves! Jason, the manager and our server, Marcus, did everything to make the party a success. The food was delicious!
Tonight my friends through me a small baby shower at Joe's. During dinner our server, AJ (or Antonio), went out and got me balloons, a card signed by all the servers, and a delicious dessert. It was so incredible. I've never seen a server do something like that before. He would have gotten a good tip regardless because in general he was a good server, but I just thought this was so amazing. Thank you so much AJ!
Best gluten free menu I've seen and the food was so good! Being able to have GF dipping bread and so many choices was amazing. The staff were great and very accommodating too. I would give 6 stars if I could! Definitely will be back.
I took my 4 kids for the first time the other night. My oldest (6 years old) has celiac. I had heard good things about the gluten free options, so I wanted her to try. Typically, her options are limited to burger no bun or salad. She was so excited about the options, and I was excited for a gluten free kids menu! She also loved that they brought gluten free bread and her own dipping sauce. I saw on the check when we left they had written āceliacā. Thank you for helping daughter have a normal restaurant experience again.
We thought everything was great! Very nice service and server. We had harvest mac n cheese and chicken enchiladas. Chicken dumplings as appetizer. The bread and dipping sauce is wonderful. I would definitely recommend.
Great food! Nice changing menu! Service is attentive. Surprising creative food for this price!
Awesome food. The food and service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh and you can tell. Not greasy at all. Very favorable. I'll definitely go back!
Just what the Kentlands needed. Great spot, great food, the outside tables are perfect. Great service and a very interesting menu. The "Vine Ripe Tomato Flatbread" is definitely a must! Very nice wine selection.
I've visited twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. Very pleased with both experiences. Food was great. Nice menu. Great service. Would like to see a better selection of craft beers.
Everything we had was so good!
Portions are very satisfying.
The Ahi tuna wontons were perfectly delicious. (Skip the cucumber with the ahi, it needs the wonton.š„°)
BBQ meatloaf and potatoes were so good. And the garlic-y parmesan olive oil with the most incredible bread!! š¤¤
Try this place! You'll be glad you did. š And you'll want to go back. If I lived nearby, I'd go back to try the pizza and the other stuff on the menu.
Friendly service.
Entrees $15-$30.
We got (pictured)
- Ahi Tuna
- BBQ Meatloaf
- Shrimp and chicken teriyaki bowl
- Chicken tenders
- Chicken sandwich
Pretty good neighborhood restaurant in Kentlands, gaithersburg. The place is huge and also has a bar inside. They have a wide variety of dishes available, including burgers, pizzas, pastas, and bar foods. I ordered chicken parmesan, sirloin tips, and burger. I would say those dishes arenāt special, but pretty good for the price. Jambalaya wasnāt really good though. I really enjoyed their complementary focaccia bread! It was really good and I ended up asking for more. They also have an extensive drink menu and appetizers. I would highly recommend this place for a big group.
Ordered the jambalaya, wasn't as tasty as it was pre Covid days. It was my first time going there in over two years. The burger was very delicious and so was the mustard crusted chicken. The service was great.
Great location to stop in for lunch and refined enough that coming for dinner would be appropriate too. Prices are a bit high, and you get what you pay for. This isnāt McDonalds or Taco Bell. I had the house made Arnold Palmer which was bottomless, 70 calories for a tall glass, and better than the retail brand. For lunch, it was a bowl of clam chowder made with Atlantic clams (They had a special name for them on the menu) which had fresh parsley on top. It was rich, velvety, and hearty as a chowder should be. A solid option.
Become a regular to have the staff remember your name and provide special service and items - this is what elevated my review from 4 to 5 stars.
Update 2: Went back for more Clam Chowder and was less impressed. The food felt less fresh than before and I might prefer Campbellās canned to what I had today. Still highly recommend coming here for happy hour!
I'm a fan of NYAG but never been to this location, so why not get acquainted with their newly re-established Happy Hour?
It is very good and happily-priced! Had the Buffalo Caribbean Chicken Tenders with a delicious pinneaple salsa and blue cheese dressing and a... Couple of margaritas (also part of the Happy Hour menu).
Great HH spot. Love the pizza. Miss the Greek salad though there are several delicious alternatives. Just an easy-going place with fun servers and well-priced menu options.
Donāt leave without indulging in at least one āPainkillerā cocktail. The name is self-explanatory!
This was our first time at the restaurant. The place has good vegetarian options. The food was good and staff is friendly. Our waitress was one of the best we have ever met. Her communication skills as well as greeting customers was just exceptional.
We had a fantastic dinner on a Friday night. Wasn't too busy. No wait. Every other table was left empty for distancing. Red Sangria and BBQ Meatloaf were both delicious!
We've been to this location a couple times, food is really very good. The pan fried haddock is excellent, green beans are fresh and perfectly cooked, mashed potatoes were very flavorful. The mustard crusted chicken sandwich with bacon is amazing- an intense blend of flavors that finishes well. Made in house lemonades are a must & salads are a good size for the price! We have had a couple things that haven't been to our taste (the clam chowder has almost no seafood and is more of a cream of potato with ham, the vinaigrette salad dressing is VERY strong [and I'm a big vinegar fan], the meatloaf is also very under-seasoned). For the amount of food and quality ingredients the price is quite good (it is a moderately priced restaurant aprox $50 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks, warm fresh focaccia and oil for dipping come with lunch or dinner.
Wow! First time here and Iām mad Iāve never come here before. Anyway, hereās what we had:
- Pineapple painkiller
- Cheesesteak egg rolls
- Coconut shrimp
- Portuguese soup
- Chicken and shrimp bowl
- Cranberry teriyaki chicken
Iām convinced we will come back for a weekly date so we can try other items on the menu. Everything sounds, looks, and smells delicious here.
