I've been going there for many years now. Margarita is consistent. Food in general is good and consistent throughout the years. They've made recent improvements on presentation, though, adding edible flowers. I liked it!
Edit: even though I still go there relatively often, I think it's becoming a bit too noisy. I have always clapped and sung along when they're singing happy birthday to a customer. But, now they bring so many instruments out! It can be too much for some people.

Outdoor seating infront of the lake is great. It was busy around 630pm and had a line for over 2 pax parties. Food was great. Had only 1 server for about 10 tables and it made slow to come to each table. After ordering they brought the food within mins.
We had a great time here for our company happy hour. Michelle was very nice and helpful; she remembers so much and had a bunch of tables that night but she got around to us every time after a little waiting. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks here. Happy hour is a good value for what you get. Only down sides are it's always packed and you can't really move around and the music is so loud you have to yell when talking to someone who is right next to you lol but other than that it's definitely live here at all times, especially weekends and late night.
One of the best restaurants to walk in Rio mall. We can expect minimum of 10 to 15 minutes of waiting period on weekends.
Coming to food, they serve one of the best Mexican cuisines. My favorite is the sizzling fajitas with chicken and shrimp. They have very good options for vegan/vegetarians also.
The experience started off bad because it was hard to locate. Also i was charged for two taco plates when i only wanted one.
However, the food was very good.
I got ground beef tacos (which i dont think are on the menu as a plate). It also came deconstructed which is cool. But the flavors were muy bien.
The only thing i didnt like was the viscosity of the beans. Personally i like them a bit more pastey. But this location gets a 5 from me.
Got chicken fajitas with flour tortillas, sour cream and cheese for my BYO taco, the garlic butter gives it a unique taste!

Guapo's is a very delicious Tex-Mex restaurant. The food is prepared and seasoned so well! I recommend the calamari and I don't normally eat calamari! LoL It was that good. The margaritas are awesome. The atmosphere is fun; great Spanish music plays and the staff sing and play instruments for those who are there to celebrate. They are also very polite and work very fast. So great to have such an authentic restaurant in the area. Check it out after (or before) a movie at AMC Theater next door. You'll have a great time.
Yesterday I went with my friends to this location and had dinner and drinks, the staff was very amazing we did no wait much time for our table, then we were taken care by Luis, such and amazing server. I asked Luis which drinks he would recommend, then he offered us a variety of drinks but recommended the one with hibiscus and mezcal ! Wow amazing! I ate an amazing chimichanga! 10 out of 10! Nice music, nice people, amazing service, amazing food and amazing drinks. Yeap I drank the drink after I took the picture, it was that good! 👍
Saturday night. Place was packed. hat to wait a long while to be sat, but the service and food were both excellent.
Guapos is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very lively and the location beside the lake is beautiful. The homemade tortillas are a must have. I'd recommend the Guacamole with jalapenos for a nice kick. The get tacos with the homemade flour tortillas. Get steak and lengua (tongue), you won't regret it.
Amazing views and great service by the staff. I loved this Tex-Mex place in my first sight.
The food here is very tasty and most importantly -- the servers describe food perfectly as it is going to be, no sugar-coated descriptions, which I honestly liked.
There is too much rush here on weekends, but that only describes why this restaurant is doing great.

Great place to go on the weekend! I went with a friend on a Saturday around 2pm. Patio seating was a 35 min wait, but was seated inside immediately (no wait). Service was great with the extra help with the assistance. I didn’t have to ask for a refill. There was three birthday parties so it got loud. When we leaving there was a good amount of people waiting. So we missed the late afternoon lunch crowd. Walked around the lake to disgust our food. Servings could easily be split between two people.
