We ordered the Margarita pizza with extra cheese, and it was yummy. We also ordered the coal chicken wings, and it was bland and didn't taste good. The salad and eggplant lasagna were good as well. Overall, pizza is good, so I will definitely go there again. They also have a bar section so people can have drinks as well.

Ordered the eggplant parmesan, but the waitress must have misheard me. I ended up receiving the chicken parmesan. I did not want to return the dish since I do not want the food to be wasted. The side Caesar salad was refreshing with good amount of cheese. The chicken parmesan itself was flavorful, but the tomato sauce on the spaghetti was quite bland. I used all the topping condiments on the table just to make it taste like anything. If you have dietary restrictions with salt, then I highly suggest this restaurant for you. If you do not have limitations, then be prepared for flat flavor. The restaurant itself is clean with separate family dining and a bar section. There’s also outdoor sitting.

I dined here Saturday night with family and it was absolutely delicious! The service was also out of this world! Dani was our server, she has a great personality and made some suggestions for dinner. Nice beer and wine selection as well as pizza! We started with the grilled Cesar Salad, amazing! All of the pizzas sounded good so we ordered cheese, margarita and ring of fire pizza. They did Not disappoint. Please hit up this spot if you are craving pizza! The food is great and it has the best vibe and service.

Update for 2023. After 10 years away, we gave them another shot. Just about everything is better. Food hit the table in the right order. Cheese and pepperoni were near perfection. Just wish the pizza had a little more sauce. I also don't understand why the kitchen refused to cook the garlic into the pizza, and served it as side. Wings were well received as was the calamari. #### Noting wrong... just nothing that says, "I gotta go back there!" Food hits the table whenever. Pizza was Good. Meatball Sub was not my style. Calamari was interesting.

We haven’t been since before the pandemic. I am glad to see the food is still great! Only problem we had was all the food/ appetizers, except my gluten free pizza, came out at same time. My gluten free pizza took another 30 min, which was annoying but they comp’d us. So all is well and it’s a good place. My suggestion is to time to appetizers and main dishes apart more and if a gluten free item appears on the same ticket as a regular item , to make sure they come out at similar times.

We got take out on a Sunday evening and the food was awesome. Ordering was seamless, the food was ready only 5 minutes past the estimated time and it was delicious. Looking forward to trying more things and for in-person visits!

Went Thursday night after watching some Quince Orchard football. The bartender was excellent. The pizza was incredible and the beer was ice cold my friend and I had a wonderful evening. Can't wait to go back.

🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕 Coal Fire in Gaithersburg is my top choice for experiencing mouthwatering, authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. The crust is perfectly crispy yet chewy, and the toppings are always fresh and bursting with flavor. In addition to the pizza, their salads and appetizers are also made with premium ingredients, which I absolutely love. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend giving this spot a try! Their menu boasts a vast array of classic and innovative pizza options, along with salads, and wings, we ordered four different pizzas, including triple meat, margherita, chicken buffalo, and pepperoni, all of which had exceptional toppings. If you're searching for genuine, wood-fired pizza in Gaithersburg, Coal Fire is the perfect destination. The ingredients are sourced locally and the dough is freshly made every day, making it a tasty and wholesome meal. My personal favorites are the 'Margherita' and the '3 meats' pizzas, although any choice from their menu is guaranteed to be satisfying. The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their craft, and they make you feel like a part of their family. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the area!

Overall a very nice little pizza/Italian place. The menu is definitely focused on the pizza (perhaps suiting with the name) but has a few other options for non-pizza eaters. The staff was also very nice. I wouldn't personally go out of my way to eat here on a regular basis, but it's good overall. No reasons NOT to eat here :)

Ordered the bbq wings- tasted more like a doctored tomato sauce than traditional bbq sauce. onions arent necessary. The bread that came with the wings was amazing. Pizza is thin crust under the toppings and just the right amount of chewiness in the ends. Really good flavor in crust and buffalo chicken. Ordered without cheese.

Great pizza with a nice chewy crust. I like their fire sauce which has a nice kick to it. FYI all their happy hours specials are pretty much suspended for Covid.
