We had a fantastic experience here. We got the Kare Kare. A bit sweet for my taste, but was very good. The Halo Halo was also flavorful and filled with goodies. I wish the halo halo had a more traditional shaved iced, as opposed to a "chopped" ice.
We had guests from six countries, Australia, Spain, Mexico , India Philippines and Bolivia who were all impressed with the food in this restaurant, so not just Pinoy palate , this place serve continentally impressive dishes try it and I guarantee you'll be back!
If you want a taste of Filipino food I highly recommend Matthew Grill. Food was very delicious at affordable prices. They offer buffet as low as $12 per person. Spacious and clean inside.
Amazing service and super friendly management!Rather authentic Filipino food. The pork jerky is especially good as are the lumpia eggrolls. The chicharon is crunchy but also strangely extremely sticky. It'll stick to your teeth worse than starburst candies. Luckily you can clean them off your teeth

The food is really good especially my favorite Kare-kare. If you're tired, eating sandwiches for lunch around Gaithersburg and would like to eat some rice, go to Matthew's lot of food to choose from, and they have desserts too yum!

Great little hole in the wall location. Everything ordered reminded me of home. Pricing is a little high but the portions are really good. Each entree could be shared or bring it home and munch on it after a night of drinking
Authentic Filipino dishes with great serving portions! Must try their sisig, kare-kare and lechon kawali. Will definitely come back for more 😁

Eat here and get catering from here on the regs. If you come here get either the lechon Kawali, crispy Pata or sisig. If they have palabok, get that too.

The best Filipino food in DMV area. My family are caterers in the Philippines so I am spoiled when it comes to real delicious home cooking. I wish I live near this place. I’ll probably stop cooking. I have dined in several times always crowded & I always take 3-4 dishes to take home.
