Reasonably priced, very good Indian cuisine. The Naan is super fresh and tasty. This place is delicious; try the fish appetizers the lamb kebab appetizer; the butter chicken is some of the best I have had. Every staff person was friendly and polite! MoCo-ers: it's in the Kentlands to the side of Lowes and K-mart, tucked in the corner at Great Seneca & Quince Orchard.

Diya has very authentic, good quality Indian food. My husband and I have eaten at virtually every Indian restaurant in Gaithersburg and this one is our favorite. Here are a few reasons why. The quality. The variety (every kind of chaat you can think of. Lots of meat and veg dishes). The excellent service (I never had to think about my water glass. It was always full). The accommodation. It was clear to the staff that one of the dishes was a tad spicy for me. My waitress asked what she could do. I asked for some raita and she gave it to me for free. When she saw it was empty, she offered to refill it. My husband loves spicy; I can't handle it. We both ordered the yellow lentil dal: his was super spicy; mine super mild. It's clear they accommodate each dish to each person's tastes. The naan! Clearly baked on site in the restaurant's tandoor oven. I can't adequately out into words how great this restaurant is. On top of everything mentioned above is the fact that it's right in the Kentlands - a 10 minute walk from my house! I love not having to drive to go out to eat! Enjoy your visit!

For dinner, I enjoyed the chicken biryani and goat korma and gulab jumon for dessert. Service was excellent. Decided to go back two days later. This time, I tried the lamb biryani, butter chicken, and (even though not on the menu) chicken saag. Fantastic! I'll certainly be going back again and again.

My friend took me to Diya Bistro located in Ashburn for lunch. Once I entered I was greeted by smiling faces. I am a true foodie and I can say with certainty that service after COVID has declined dramatically in many restaurants. I felt welcomed at Diya's and the service was impeccable. Now for the food....what can I say other than my tummy was happy! I ordered the Sarson Ka Saag, Chole Bhature, and Papri Chaat. Let me start with the Sarson Ka Saag garnished with fresh ginger that was creamy, saucy, and simply addictive. I even took one order home and my mom, who is the pickiest Indian lady, loved it! The chole had the right amount of spices and the consistency of the curry was perfect! The bhature was made bite size so it stayed fresh, soft, and fluffy which is quite different in other Indian restaurants that serve one big size of bread and once you break it, it loses its texture. The icing on the cake was the Papri Chaat, oh my, that was perfect! The papri was nice, thin, and crispy which stayed the same even in the yogurt and chutneys! I can go on with my descriptive feelings about the food here but to summarize....the food is amazing! I have passed the word to my friends, colleagues, and family!

Withoutna doubt one of the best dining experience s I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff that gives you the mom.and pop feel of a restaurant catering to their community. The food was very good and the price was right on point. I will be making this my new Indian spot for a long time to come. I highly recommend splitting appetizers. The garlic naan was very good.

Friendly host, very clean interiors. Buffet was limited but quality was good. Pani puri, pakoda, breads, sarsonka saag, kheer were great. Missed having at least one south indian dish in the buffet.
