Nice place, food is good and people are nice. We usually do takeout, but eating there would be nice too. The only complaint and reason for one less star is pricing.
Excellent service. Authentic Central American food. Everything is cooked while you wait for your order. Oh. They also cater Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the whole family or parties. You have to order in advance and the portions are very generous. I will definitely go back.

Really delicious Salvadorean food at a reasonable price with great service.
The food is WONDERFUL. The horchata was a little too thin/sweet for me, but the pupusas were what I came for and they were excellent. I'd suggest two pupusas if you're having dessert, and three if you're not. Service was a little slow but worth it. Expect NO English (though they try); we were the only non-Hispanic people there, which I consider a good thing. Our check was under $13 for two pupusas and a horchata each.

The Manager, Juan, was nasty, dishonest, unfriendly, rude, hates people, and difficult to deal with, I'll never go there again. as long as he is there. My experience prior to him was exquisite. What a pity.
Best customer service, fast and amazing pupusas with less greasy mess. I love the fact that they tell you not to worry a out eating it with utensils because it's their culture to eat it with their hands.
Very welcoming service, even for a to-go order. Food is delicious and authentic. Price is great. Wait time varies on the order. Will be going more often. Very homey, casual and affordable place for a short or long eat for authentic food. Try the insalada de fruta, it's a fruit salad juice drink with chopped fresh fruit inside. Great even as a mini app.
Best pupusas ever!! I had from other local pupuserias but does not beat the flavor from el comalito. My family and I love pupusas de arroz (rice dough style).
I have to say that their Pupusas are the very best in the Rockville/Gaithersburg and Germantown area. I consider them the Gold Standard due to their favor, quality, and consistency when making them. I strongly urge folks to try them and compare to others. I believe their is no better Pupusa than El Colmalito.
