i think this food is AWESOME!! i ordered the catfish, cajun fries and the corn that was seasoned with the "threesome." my dinner mate ordered the gumbo (hot or really spicy to his liking), a pound of mussels and a pound of crawfish. the food was seasoned to perfection. this was our first visit but we will have MANY because it is that good. do NOT come to this place dressed in anything but casual wear because the food is juicy and messy and in a great way. only down side is if you order a shot of liquor that it is not quite enough. overall though, it is SO worth the trip.
Got to experience the food here for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing, did not disappoint! Great service, the bartender was very nice and attentive, great size portions of food and the fried platter and pound of crawfish did not disappoint. Glad it came to MoCo! Will be back soon.
The food was amazing! It was our first time here. Everything is made fresh to order. The shrimp Po boy, Fried calamari, and Hush puppies w/the sauce are great! They give you an option on how to season your food. You can get the steamed seafood with a choice of 1-3 flavors (I had garlic & butter) or combine all 3. Plus you can choose your pepper strength, seasoned fries, and corn. The adult beverages were STRONG! Hats off to the bar tender. Our waitress Sav was very nice. We will definitely go back soon.
This place is off the hook!!! Great food!!, great staff!!, atmosphere is wonderful and they'll have the sound on for football games!! I visit at least 2 times a week!!! It's the new hot spot in Gaithersburg!!! See you there...!!
I enjoyed my new. With my hands. It was a lovely environment, waitress was lovely, food was worth the price. Will definitely return.
I love this place I really do but last night Iowa's not too pleased I'm in there 3to4 times a week ordering mussels to go but last night I did eat in n the mussels were not the same very dry very little sauce not make it hot OT all three like I ordered

Awesome food! First time having crawfish, and now that I have I'm sad I waited so long. We went for the sampler, and got to try everything, it's definitely an experience. The place is really cool too, lots of seafaring decor as if you are in some small fishing village but right in Montgomery County. Awesome! -Thanks Anthony!

So happy to have stumbled on to this gem of a restaurant. The food was great. Nice portions seasoned and cooked just right. Low key and laid back atmosphere. We had a terrific server named Savoeuth. Definitely my new go to place!

First time trying the fried oysters with Cole slaw..... I've had better but I would order again. Coleslaw.... Not too much of a fan but u can get fries... I opted out. But I did like the oysters!
The atmosphere inside was very booming when you walk in, live dj the night we went in, good food, spending it with family priceless! Would recommend to all!
Had a really good time at this place! They have outside seating, which is a bonus in these times, and a really good selection of food. Our server Jimmy was awesome! Followed his recommendations for the sauce selection and he really knows what he's talking about. Snow crab legs were super tasty and enjoyable, and the flavor really popped! Thank you for making our experience so great, will definitely be back again!
It seems to draw more of a bar crowd but we came on a Tuesday night so who knows. Our waitress was very pleasant and explained the menus to us. The seafood items seemed a bit pricey. My friend had a bowl of jambalaya with rice and I had a bowl of gumbo and some Cajun fries. The price was right at $6 for the bowls. Plenty of goodies in the gumbo, flavor was great. Only complaint was the temperature was a little cool. The Cajun fries were great.i asked for mid heat but they were pretty spicy which I like. We were pretty happy with the service, food and price.
I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the girl working yesterday (9/9/2020 around 2pm). She was the only person working the restaurant and was super friendly and quick. Im still amazed how she worked several tables and the bar by herself and was so quick. Hope they compensate her well!
The only reason I brought down a star was because I didn't like the breading on the catfish (the fish was fresh though) and the calamari could have been cooked harder. The Shrimp and French Fries were wonderful though.
Food is very good. I highly recommend the steamed shrimp, though I've had sandwiches, steamed seafood, seafood baskets and more. Everything has always tasted great. Prices aren't bad for the area and they type of food. If you get a steamed dish, you choose your flavor (garlic, cajan, etc...) you can mix and match. Then you choose your spice level.
Only complaint is the service. I've been there probably about 10 times and in that time, I've only had one sever that I would say was very good, three that were okay, and the rest were fairly poor. They don't check up on you, and aren't often around if you are trying to get their attention.
Food is good. Generally doesn't take long to make. It just depends if you have a good server as to how long you'll wait for to place your order and get your bill at the end.
Amazing crawfish and at a very reasonable price. Amazing people and very jovial ambience... eating crabs and crawfish is a messy business and this place celebrates it proudly...
Definitely try crawfish... but also try snow crabs. 10/10 wud go again??
Love the staff and drinks... love the shrimp, crabs and crab legs as well. Now they have a new burger which is also yummy. Lunch special wings, chicken tenders or fried fish is a good price and tasty as well.
The Owners and some of the staff are the best! Friendly, full of personality and make you feel at home. A real CHEERS kind of feeling.
