Quite possibly the best food I've had all year. Every single thing we ordered was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, with a fabulous flavor profile and absolutely gorgeously presented. The atmosphere of the space itself matched the food. This is the kind of place you see on Triple D and drool over, and it's right here in little old Galt. The owner was also happy to talk about the food and personally checked to make sure we pleased. We've found our new favorite restaurant for sure!
The food was not only delicious but the presentation of the food was amazing/beautiful! It was also very clean inside with plenty of areas to sit down. I highly recommend this place for a quick dine in lunch spot.
On point from the moment you enter the front door. Clean dining area and simple decor. The chefs are artists in presentation and wizards with flavor with everything on the menu (chalk board).

Street Zlan is breaking the law!
I know for a fact, in my 20 years of visiting Galt this street vendor, trapped in a building is violating a long standing Galt City Ordinance. Nothing this original and divinely tasty has been allowed in Galt since the founding in 1946.
The menu has 7 or 8 items each day with 4 sides you can add.
We were pleased on our first visit with the tremendous burrito that we split. When I arrived for my second visit much to long after my first I did not see this tremendous item. The shrimp burrito only -- no bueno today. I felt myself becoming annoyed that the burrito wasn't available. Luckily I was on a lunch date with my wife, and she slapped that "karen" right out of me.
I ordered the Vaquero Tacos for $16.00 begrudgingly. The au jus side takes a tremendous interpretation of a street taco to a heavenly level.
Tips I learned in two visits:
Order ahead if your in a rush 10 to 15 minutes. Otherwise, have two beers while you wait.
Assume your are visiting in-laws and eat what is available. This isn't burger-king. You will be happy you did.
Fantastic. Birria stew tacos and the fish tacos were extremely good, ambience is lovely, service is very friendly, tables were all clean. I highly recommend!
The menu is limited but interesting. It's fun to dine on a chef's " interpretation of food. Loved the food. A little pricey for quantity but not excessive. I'll definitely be back.
Nice little to restaurant in downtown area of Galt. Wasn't to busy. Food was plentiful and taste great. Had the tacos and the jerk fries. Didn't disappoint. Would of been nice if they had chips and salsa.
StreetZlan is fantastic. It’s Mexican food with a twist.. the twist you ask? A ton of magical deliciousness that Eric and his team slap on everything they make. They have a rotating menu, which has its pluses and minuses, because you might fall in love with something and then one day it’s gone. It’s heartbreaking at times. lol. But all is not lost, because it’s likely replaced with something new and experimental that will surely blow your mind. If you’re a fan of avocado, try the Avocado Slayer, it’s one of my favorites. I can’t praise this place enough. A sure hidden gem of Galt!
Great food. Nothing else can describe the taste and quality. The staff was courteous and provided an eta when our order was coming out.
Love this hidden gem in Galt! It is so delicious! The inside is small but very cute I like the style. I ordered the agua fresca, and shared fish tacos and tacos vaqueros with my sister. Everything was mouth-watering and cooked to perfection. I talked to one of the owners, the wife, and she was super friendly and nice. Their menu is simple but it is authentic!
This tiny little restaurant produces BIG on quality. Have not had a bad dish, everything is bursting with unique and balanced flavors. Presentation is like artwork, you can tell they care about every aspect of their business.
