Galvez Bar & Grill - Galveston - Photo album

Food was very good. First time going, and we will definitely go back. There were 2 weddings at the same time so we did not get to experience the bar but we had a lot of fun anyway. Sitting sipping a digestive outside looking at the sunset was spectacular.
Only went to the bar for a drink. The hotel is absolutely stunning and right across the street from the beach. The air freshener that permeated throughout the establishment was a bit too strong for my taste (I literally could taste it) but the place was amazing.
The food was lacking but our server was nice and gave us a cheesecake to congratulate our engagement. The espresso martini was strong but still tasted good. The restaurant and hotel were beautiful.
We stayed over the weekend at the Galvez we know their brunch is also. However we missed the brunch and instead we tried dinner at The Monarch, the service is outstanding and beautiful atmosphere. The food not so incredible. The fish of the day I was told it was Red snaper and I love Red Snaper s
My new favorite place in Galveston. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch. It was amazing and had everything brunch should have: breakfast, pasta, seafood, select meats, fruit, dessert, bottomless mimosas, top knotch service in a beautiful, glamorous, decoratively ornate historic hotel. We will definitely be
The food was really great! Kudos to Chef Mike! Loved the salad and the burger was surprisingly terrific. And the service was even better! Waitress Alicia was attentive without hovering and took care of our every need. A wonderful dinner!
Ordered chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I was expecting chocolate chips within the batter of the pancake... not dumped on top. The service was great.
We dined in ~ 6pm. Our server Chris was so awesome and attentive! I ordered the red fish with roasted seasonal veges (potatoes/zucchini/yellow squash). The potatoes were too saturated in butter/oil, but still tasted good. For someone who doesn’t care for fish/sea food this dish wasn’t too over power
We came here for an overnight stay headed to our cruisethe next morning. This place was breathe taking. Omg sooo beautiful and they told me they were about to start upgrading it soon. Think this is the oldest hotel on the Island. The lady at the front desk is bomb sooo sweet very informative about
I had dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. The dinner was good and the service was great. My biggest complaint was a $3 Sprite that was maybe half a can. The breakfast was amazing. One of the best I have had in a long time. However the coffee was horrible. They say they brew Starbu
Absolutely fabulous as always. We wanted to visit before that yahoo from Dallas destroys her with his "contemporary remodel". Still really heartbroken over that and hoping it never happens. Our dinner was wonderful and the service was great. She really is the queen of the gulf, so full of class and
Love the place real beautiful. I went on my birthday (February 1, 2021) to have dinner. We sat at the bar and can i say how great and attentive the bartender was. He suggested stuff for me and my husband to try, since it was our first time there and it was perfect!. Love the grill shrimp and the fis
Just beautiful! A beautifully restored hotel in front of the beach. Great food, great prices and great service. A must visit in Galveston specially the bar n restaurant which are AMAZING!
Great!! All the employees are very nice and friendly
Great Luxury Hotel. Rooms and staff are amazing. Looks out over beach. Sunday Brunch is amazing. Mimosas and coffee topnotch. Always a great getaway. 5 🌟!
Been going here since 1985 to go dancing at the bar area with live bands playing. Was a Nursing Student at U.T.M.B. GREAT WHITE RUSSIAN DRINKS.
