Food was very good. First time going, and we will definitely go back. There were 2 weddings at the same time so we did not get to experience the bar but we had a lot of fun anyway. Sitting sipping a digestive outside looking at the sunset was spectacular.
Only went to the bar for a drink. The hotel is absolutely stunning and right across the street from the beach. The air freshener that permeated throughout the establishment was a bit too strong for my taste (I literally could taste it) but the place was amazing.
The food was lacking but our server was nice and gave us a cheesecake to congratulate our engagement. The espresso martini was strong but still tasted good. The restaurant and hotel were beautiful.
We stayed over the weekend at the Galvez we know their brunch is also. However we missed the brunch and instead we tried dinner at The Monarch, the service is outstanding and beautiful atmosphere. The food not so incredible. The fish of the day I was told it was Red snaper and I love Red Snaper s

Ordered chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I was expecting chocolate chips within the batter of the pancake... not dumped on top. The service was great.
We dined in ~ 6pm. Our server Chris was so awesome and attentive! I ordered the red fish with roasted seasonal veges (potatoes/zucchini/yellow squash). The potatoes were too saturated in butter/oil, but still tasted good. For someone who doesn’t care for fish/sea food this dish wasn’t too over power
We came here for an overnight stay headed to our cruisethe next morning. This place was breathe taking. Omg sooo beautiful and they told me they were about to start upgrading it soon. Think this is the oldest hotel on the Island. The lady at the front desk is bomb sooo sweet very informative about
