This is our favorite go to for the best food and atmosphere in Galveston. Stopped in the night before a cruise this time and they did not disappoint!!! My husband wanted Oysters Rockefeller which is not on their menu but he asked if they could make it. We were completely surprised and my husband overjoyed when our waiter asked the chef and the chef said he could make them for him. They were delicious and most excellent!!! To our waiter and the chef, you blew us away, thank you!!! The rest of our meal was also excellent!! Hot, fresh, and delicious! Waitstaff is always friendly and exceptional! The Galveston Isle Tea is always amazing and I look forward to it with every visit! The views of the harbor and Elissa are always amazing too! We have been customers for years when visiting the island and this place is always consistent and over the top good from their food, their outstanding customer service, and wonderful ambience!

Really enjoyed this place. We heard about the happy hour and had to try it. It was quiet and we were served by the bartender. Super service. The shrimp kisses should be on every menu everywhere. Delicious. The crab cakes were great as was the fish and chips. We did fi d the hush puppies lacking but overall great food.

I was looking for some simple fish & chips, so I figured Fisherman's Wharf should have me covered. I sat outside overlooking the bay. My server was very pleasant, although a little chatty. Maybe it's because things had slowed down after the dinner rush, but it was no bother and I enjoyed our conversation. The fish and chips were crisp, very tasty and quite a large portion. The coleslaw was nice and creamy, I just wish there had been more of it. The tartar sauce was very tasty as well. I was happy to see that they had malt vinegar available, but I guess I'm not surprized either. Word to the wise, it's possible to order a half order at lunch time apparently (not that it helped me at dinner time). I could not finish the meal. If I'm ever in Galveston again, I'll definitely be stopping by Fisherman's Wharf.

We had a fantastic view from our window seat table on the water. We made a reservation since this place often fills up and has a wait. Service was very prompt and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The kids burger with fries was a nice serving size for my 10yo. The fish and chips were some of the best my husband had ever had. He particularly enjoyed the batter. He highly recommends. The grilled shrimp and veggies were well cooked and tasty. The captains choice: fried shrimp and fish filets were excellent as well. We really enjoyed our view and the meal. We would return.

Ate here on a non-holiday weekend Monday. Walked in at 740pm, seated by 745pm, had water/drinks by 755pm, food was out by 810pm, desert served by 835pm, and we're boxed up and leaving by 850pm. Absolutely outstanding experience. Everything was top notch and prices were reasonable for a nicer restaurant in Galveston, TX. Highly, highly recommend. And a bonus, the servers are very good with kids (at least the ones on staff the night I was there)!

Great food and charming atmosphere! It’s a two stories building with both indoor and outdoor seating. Fish was fresh and Elissa’s flavor was delicious! The shrimp kisses wrapped in bacon was a staple as well! Had a bit of wait the day we came, believed they were short staffed since there were plenty of tables. Shoutout to our great server, Justin, for the friendly service and attentiveness to our big table!!

Albert was a fantastic waiter. And Mike the manager was awesome. Food...omg spectacular. Only complaint was the desserts being microwaves and the crabcakes were more stuffing than crab. But definitely a go again kinda place.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! We were in town for a couple days and we definitely wanted to try some seafood. We are very particular and the menu here looked really refined and there was mainly all seafood which is a good sign! The food was AMAZING!! tasted fresh and cooked so well! The location is amazing! You get views of ships and the USS Texas while it is dry docked. Great atmosphere and the styling is amazing. It’s classy but rustic looking on the pier! Staff was incredible and pleasant.

I’m not huge on sea food and yes I know that’s pretty much all they have. I got their crab cakes and it was good and a huge amount. My husband got the red fish and he said it wasn’t to bad either. The views are cool from the back patio/dock.

The 45 minute wait for a patio seat this late Saturday night was worth it! We loved the vibe and the food was tasty and delicious. We split the 'Mixed Grill's' (picture included). We dug into it so fast I almost forgot to take a picture of it. Ha ha . $25-35 per person unless you split a meal like we did

The atmosphere, the ship in the background, gave us an authentic feel of dining in a seafood restaurant, The service was quick and the food was delicious. We were seated on the table without wait time on a Saturday night.. thank you. They also validate your parking pass for the space front of the restaurant.

Hands down, best fish I've ever had in my life! I had the stuffed tilapia and grandpa had red snapper. He never finishes his food, but he ate every single bite! I had to bring some of mine back so I could relive the experience, which I'm doing as I'm writing this! I wish I had gotten my server's name, she was fantastic as well! I love that she didn't disregard my grandpa because he's hearing impaired. She spoke TO him, and when he couldn't hear her, she spoke up! Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food!! The place was hopping, so there was a wait, but I could see that everyone on staff was running their tooshies off, working fast and efficiently! Highly recommend!!

Located on the historic and scenic strand. The shipyards presently have the Battleship of Texas in dry dock and plain view from the restaurant. The historic sailing ship the Elissa is docked directly behind the patio. Make sure your get your parking ticket validated or it will be expensive to park.

We arrived around 5:30 ish. No wait for a table! We sat by a window directly facing the Elissa. We started with some delicious fried mushrooms. My wife had the Chicken Elissa and I had the Tuna Tacos. Both plates we excellent and large portions. Chad, our server clearly knows his menu and offered the kind of excellent service we rarely experience these days. We will definitely be back!

Try the BREAD PUDDING it’s Amazing! Also got the crab-stuffed Tilapia, cooked to perfection and the sauce they used…I could have licked that plate clean. It’s paid parking but you can get your parking ticket validated (so it’s essentially free). Our server was a little spacey (forgot a few items) but very friendly and responsive when we needed help.
