This was our first time at Hearsay. We visited on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t busy, easy to find a table. We sat outside — there are three 4-top tables and we brought our dog. We ordered chicken and waffles and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! The waffle had a good crisp to it
Such a cool place to eat! Definitely doesn’t feel touristy since it’s a sit down restaurant and the waiters are super nice! They have multiple vegetarian options and they can be made vegan super easily (taking the cheese off etc). They have an impossible burger and impossible meatballs and spaghetti
Food was decent, but what you are really here for is the atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant with stellar bar. Theres a little upstairs and even balcony seating as well. Great option if you want to step up the dining experience a little.
Visited Galveston and this place caught my eye so I brought the family out. The atmosphere was really cool, defeintely had the speakesy vibe.
I thought their menu had great variety, especially helpful for vegetarians as well. Wish service would come more often but it was great nonetheless!
Nice atmosphere - a little loud but not so much you have to shout to hear your tablemates. Decor is a bit industrial, a bit reclaimed vintage. Menu has a range of entrees and price points, fairly in line with a Strand restaurant. We enjoyed a burger and a chicken sandwich. Unusual but tasty fries. V
Some of the best flavor combinations I've had, the food and cocktails are amazing. We sat upstairs, so got a great view of the decor and chandelier over the bar and seating area downstairs, it's beautiful. Service was great, even when they're busy. Definitely recommend giving them a try!
The food was delicious. I would've enjoyed a bigger cocktail menu, the espresso martini was our favorite drink. The dessert was incredible, we had the creme brulee and deep fried brownies. I loved the deep fried brownies.

Great food at a great price at a great place. The service was a bit mixed up for a minute, but they were all nice. The salad with pecans, grapes, fried cheese, apples and greens was fantastic.
