Came in here for the 1st time today. I ordered the menudo large bowl. That thing was huge and super delicious. I highly recommend it. The flour tortillias that came with it were ginormous. I also ordered the langue rachero taco. It was super delicious as well. Be careful though, it's on the spicy hot ๐ถ side, which I love.

A civilized dining experience!! I have been eating in Mexican restaurants all my life. Bambu is a rarity. Clean, tasteful dining atmosphere. Great food. Nice portions, and excellent service.
Now, here is my explanation of civilized dining: real flatware....not the stuff you usually see in Mexican restaurants...you know the forks and knives that came from a prison labor camp in Siberia. Real plates and glasses too! No more Styrofoam cups or plastic tumblers that look like they were gnawed on by rats...
Do yourself a favor, dine at Bambu's.

We had a party of 12, service was timely. Personally had a caldo de rez, which was delicious specifically the rice along side with it. One of the best I have had and I'm Mexican. Would definitely return.
One of our favorite places for breakfast. They're always busy but the wait staff are good and take good care of you. My wife always gets the Surprise burrito and loves it. My go-to is the huevos rancheros. Everything is delicious.
We were driving around the town before boarding the Ruby Princess cruise. I saw this restaurant and tried their Surprise Borito and the breakfast plate. Both taste so good. Best value for the price and free parking spaces are on the street in front of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for an early lunch. Nice and bright dinning room. The guacamole was excellent. Good chips and salsa (although, I prefer a thicker salsa). I tried the enchilada plate, which had a chicken, cheese and beef enchilada. Good all around. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that their waitstaff could work on their attentiveness. Plenty of staff, but very little visits to the table. I'm definitely coming back to try their breakfast options. Definitely worth a visit! Finding a parking spot can get tricky.

This is one of my favorite places in the island, a charming local breakfast with a real Mexican taste. The staff make it feels like home and family. Definitely you have to try the burritos and chilaquiles
We went here for breakfast and the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly! We had several different people check on us. The food also came quickly! If you want a great, local place with authentic Mexican, do yourself a favor and go to Bambu!
The food was excellent, however the portions were extremely small. Everything had a great taste especially the salsa but you would need almost 3 tacos to be enough food. Other than that this would be a 5 star!
Fantastic restaurant. If you are in Galveston and are craving Mexican food, consider this place. It is more Mexican than Tex-Mex.
The service was fantastic. They were all very nice, welcoming, and attentive. Food came out on time and was well prepared.
Cons: It was 11AM on a Saturday and the menudo wasn't ready yet. That's weird.

Gabriela was very nice and an amazing waitress. She had great recommendations on food, and it was outstanding. I will always eat at Bambu whenever I visit Galveston, and so should you.
Delicious. So far I've only had the special since I've been going there. But my coworker swears on the Nachos as well. The staff is so kind, helpful and friendly. The price is great. And like I said Delicious. I will definitely be trying other things on the menu every time I come back. I would love for everyone that sees my review to at least give it 1 try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Food was on point! Good coffee โ๏ธ Wonderful friendly service. Greeted us with a smile. I had the Huevos Rancheros it was good. (I always get my salsa on the side, incase I don't like it). Salsa okay, needs more flavor. I like my salsa a bit more spic๐. Eggs were perfect (I already cut them up). My son ordered the Chilaquiles Mix with eggs. This dish is tasty. (I recommend). My granddaughter wanted eggs and ham mix. Good corn and flour tortillas.
Definitely will return to try lunch/dinner while I'm here. ๐

The absolute best part is the coffee served on a saucer โ with real cream! It's amazing!
The breakfast is great, plenty of food and service wad wonderful. My wife Migas was the best.
